76-74 a Final score that’s rarely seen anymore
Because the NBA now is more offance
The beginning of the end of (GROWN MAN BASKETBALL & DEFENSE) - cry babies and 10 players on the court shooting 3’s now a days - just like RAP/HIP HOP it is a dam shame what has happened to the NBA 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
*Never seen anymore in the NBA

In this era the west had the power house teams. But the east had the teams that were tough grind it out type of teams. The pistons were a great half court defensive team, so were the nets, and the Pacers. The nets weren't a great shooting team, they thrived of turnovers turn into fast break points. The nets ran and ran and ran. The struggle once they had to play half court offense.
If only they shot more 3s like today’s NBA
LMFAO. The east were the weakest conference ever in an era. Every year 1-8 west teams were basically in the top 8 of the best 10 teams. You only had to win 41 games for home-court advantage in the east, while in the the west you had to win 50 games to have a chance for the playoffs.
@@LALakers4life34The East has always been more weak than the West. It's still case even today.
This was classic. I miss this type of playoffs.
Bill Walton commentary is legendary and hilarious asl
I love that early 2000's NBA Basketball people say the 80's was more physical. But the late 90s early 2000's was more physical and had more tough defense. Look at the score in the early 70s before Kidd hit that shot.
Mr Dewayne 80s defense is definitely overrated
@@X02Overdose cant agree more. Theyre showing the same hard fouls and fights all the time and implying everyone in that era was tough and play through fouls.
U lunching
The next year!! This loss turned the Pistons into 2004 Champions🔥
Miss this era of basketball
This shot looked similar to Kwahi Leonard’s game clincher in 2019. Like, literally the same spot and over a big too. Clutch!!!
In 2002, Kidd deserved to be the MVP.
They say lonzo is the modern day Jason Kidd.
Lonzo could never
One of the worst comparisons ever smh
What a shot
Probably the strongest nets team in my memory since this year with durant and irving
I agree. The 03 Nets were better than the 02 team in my opinion, especially if Mutombo would have actually been playing.
@@TheManFromJerz201 Agreed. Even tho the 03 Nets won 49 games 3 games less than the 02 one, they dominated throughout the EC playoffs Sweeping the Celtics and Pistons back to back series after a dogfight with the Bucks winning in 6 in the 1st rd and had a 10 game playoff winning streak. They even pushed the 03 Spurs to 6 games compared to getting swept by the Lakers the previous nba finals.
@@Theterminato2013 I agree 100%
Greatest jkidd moment in my opinion absolutely amazing play
this one still hurts a lil.
Jason Kidd eliminated them bc of his great offense and the Mavs didnt get into the playoffs bc of Jason Kidd's coaching offense, no defense.
K mart would’ve got the rebound anyways
That’s the play
