I loved this interview so much familia...like i loved how interesting the conversation is between two industry gigantics and two artists who are truly in the game for music ....i loved how considerate Pharrell was being with namjoon's questioning ...how patient he was with namjoon's English and don't get me wrong my president is the king of languages but still i loved the mutual respect....of course it's understandable the nervousness in joon...he was literally meeting his idol💜💜💜💜💜i think Pharrell really told namjoon all the things that he needed to hear at this particular time💜💜💜

Pharrell was born in 1973! Hard to imagine! But I point it out because he's 20+ yrs Namjoon's senior and yet in this interview one thing that was so beautiful is how Pharrell treated Namjoon as his equal. I loved that.

I honestly got emotional when I watched this interview.
I’m so proud of Namjoon, he truly deserves all the things he has achieved and even more. Namjoon is such an admirable person, one of my biggest inspiration and I know for millions of people as well and that must be so much pressure. I just wish him the best because he has helped and inspire so many people, he deserves to be happy too and I hope he keeps that passion for music because he’s amazing! but in order to do that, Namjoon needs to rest sometimes, breathe, try another things and clear his mind. I’m glad he found new things that inspire him and makes him relax like art. Of course as an Army I love to see our boys together, but it is important they have their own space in order to not lose themselves. We know that when they comeback, they will be stronger and powerful. I wonder what they will give us during these individual promotions, how will be their chemistry and what each member will bring to the table after going solo. That just makes me really excited for the future! They are currently trying so many new things and having new experiences that I just know that BTS is going to be next level. 🙌🏻💜
I really loved this interview. It was really honest, deep and interesting. It was cool to hear the thoughts of Namjoon and an artist like Pharrell about making their own craft, their passion about music and how they deal with all the pressure and fame.
It was nice to see how truly interested they were in each other and how they gave each other advices.
I can’t wait to listen their collab or the project they worked together! 💜
‘RM’ was great and ‘Mono’ was SO good and literally one of my favorite albums/mixtapes ever and literally therapy for so many Armys. Namjoon is just getting better and better and now RM3 IS COMING!! Jeez I’m not emotionally prepared it all. 😭😳

I'm always in awe whenever i hear namjoon speaks his mind and talks about something that he likes and passionate about like this. He is such a genius and i will forever be proud that i stan ppl who loves and is passionate about their craft, i learned a lot in this interview. I suggest you guys listen to the podcast version too! And i don't know if you guys noticed but when pharrell talked about the fanbase (the army) joon said "why would they be?" "no they're not like that" 🥺 and it warms my heart so much. He is our number one defender, our president.
I’ve BEEEN waiting for this collab, so happy it’s finally happening! Pharell’s fingerprints are ALL OVER the music industry, but I think my fave that I still listen to on a regular basis is “Get Lucky” with Daft Punk. (Crazy how that song also came out in 2013 😅). Such an enlightening conversation between true artists 💜💛
You guys should listen to RM's version of Pharrell's TAKE IT OFF, he did a twist on it by translating some of the lyrics to Korean. RM's version is titled EXPENSIVE GIRL (only available at Sound Cloud), and that song was super hot and racy that it is mind boggling that a rapper at his age at that time (I think he was just 16/pre-debut Namjoon) was able to record and perform that song. It was a very controversial song and RM avoided to talk about it until now.
This was one of the best interviews I've ever seen. Namjoon as always is impressive, and I respect him to the ends of the earth and back. I've never paid that much attention to Pharrell before, but now I want to learn more about him. He's so intelligent and insightful, just like Joon. I can see those two having long, deep conversations, and I wish I could be a fly on the wall for all of it. I can't wait to hear Joon's album and the collabs that are coming down the pike. I don't want BTS to be gone for so long while they're in the military, but I feel like Pharrell - this is going to be a period where they'll be taking in more and more information and experience that they can distill into new work. When they get back, the world had better hold on to its hats.

Considering Namjoon once said Pharrell is the sexiest guy on Earth and clearly admires him so much for his music, I was so happy for Namjoon to see the announcement that Namjoon got to work with him! ☺️💜

This WAS a great interview, more like a great interaction between two amazing artists. Very inspiring, they were both really vulnerable. I've been loving seeing the member's speaking more freely, doesn't it make you love them even more?! To be able to hear their thoughts and feelings about things is really special. I enjoyed watching this with you guys!💜💜💜

took courage for Pharrell to officially collab with RM because just like what he said, there's too much pressure there especially with the attention that he will get even from mere selfie with him let alone an interview and music collab. i am just amazed with artists who knows that pressure and still choose to work with them with actually respect our boys as artists ..we know others who only take advantage of the clout and they know what happened after they get exposed sooooooo .. i just want to thank Pharrell for being honest and for talking to RM, our leader needs that right now 💜

I wrried he had depression, He worked as leader since he was 19, he had to produce write songs for BTS, He had to reflect their minds thoughts etc
He had to work for BTS story line and gave interview nonstop 10 years , he worked as translator
freaking Hybe is richest company , but never gave us eng sub untel 2019, even now some Bangtan TV haven't eng sub
It was all ARMY's job
Namjoon always worked as translator for the BTS, he had so much resposility and pressure

yes! Humility. gentlemen. Kind of a purist when it comes to being an honest performer by taking into consideration all the effort the army takes to come see them perform and then he turns around to give them the best product he can. That's why army loves them.
I totally agree, this convo is so free and genuine and could have easily happened behind closed doors but we’ve been given the privilege of witnessing two genius minds opening and giving us a sneak peek into what goes on behind those doors. So. So. So. Cool.

Joon seems mature but remember he is human , in a way he is being socially deprive 10 years non stop think about it, all your youth gone working at a incredible speed, he has to slow down. This is absolutely the best interview between two human beings that I've ever listened to. RM had in-depth questions for Pharrell, and he, in turn, gave insightful advice. They recognized and respected the immense talent and humility in each other.
Pharrell thinks of himself as a public servant, and Namjoon really liked that.
BTS have always been our bulletproof Boyscouts, but they have become world ambassadors for the youth and those who are underprivileged. 💜
They understand that their voice can galvanize the power of an army of voices to help others.
Pharrell let RM know that it is OK to take a break from group activities so that each member can work on and release their solo albums. Everybody needs to take the time they need in order to recharge their batteries and strengthen their bodies, spirits, and minds. The breakneck cycle of 11 years of dance practices, music composition, album releases, promotions, concerts, and world tours left them little free time to spend with friends, their families, or pursuing their hobbies.
When they come back together in 2025 as a team, they will be stronger and enjoy it all the more. Go with the flow and ride it where it takes you. The BTS ARMY will support each of you every step of the way. Borahe 💜
