Hi,my dear friend !I'm really amazed 👏 😍 of this beautiful video ! Professional work ! I'm watching with pleasure and have a lot of positive emotions!!!Thanks for sharing !Have a wonderful week!❤️💗💕
Lovely video, Jon. We are so lucky this year to be blessed with so many shorties in the south of England. I am out most evenings, when the weather is kind, watching them on my local patch. Sometimes I see as many as six to eight owls hunting over the same area, interacting with each other and the ever-present corvids and kestrels. A wonderful experience which I hope will continue throughout the winter. 😊
Wonderful. Just love shorties! Here they hunt in the same habitat as northern harriers. It’s pretty cool to see those 2 species get in each other’s faces! I’ve never seen that foot-waggling behaviour though, how funny.
Funny you should mention that, we had a Hen Harrier quartering with them last year, but I wasn't lucky enough to get any footage. This one was chased off by the pair of Shorties quite quickly. As for the foot-waggling, I'd like to see it again 🤣

Thank you! While they aren’t about in the same area this year, they are in our nearby hills.

Really enjoyed this mate!
Really glad you liked it! Makes it all worthwhile 😊
7:59 I think its shaking off negative energy from a fight. I've seen Barn Owls will do this too.
