Mom: Where have you been?
Me: I went to south africa
Mom: What? When? Early this morning? What were you doing?
Me: Jogging!
There's another strange border. DPRK and SouthKorea. Where the Monument is located. The blue buildings (which are standing across the borders). In the middle of them are those desks where a weapon-seizure treaty has been signed once. Because both countries are not again in official "peace" up to this day. Desk is right on the border. As a guided tourist you can cross the border INSIDE these buildings, means going around it inside ( except for leaving the opposite door) but not the "real border demarkation line" outside of them where the border guards in-duty are guarding. Thats some strange border as well.
Cool
There's a joke here in north-west Germany: "How can you tell when you've arrived in the Netherlands by car? By the immaculate, whisper-quiet roads!" 😂

Port Roberts in Washington state must be accessed by land by going through Canada. A friend raised in Ontario was born in US hospital, and when going to the bathroom was in US.
It is Point Roberts.....
port roberts is by british columbia, not ontario
I dont see why no one is mentioning the fact the ceremony at the wagah border is not something that happens "everyday as the sun sets", it happens on the Indian Republic Day when the sun sets.

As like sri lanka
On the border between Canada and the U.S.A., there are a few villages where, in some houses, you can sit in Canada and watch your TV in the U.S.A., or could pass the salt across the border.
Cool
In Derby Line, Vermont, the Haskell Opera House and Library sits in the US and Canada. One can watch the show in the US and perform on stage in Canada.
@@lisapreston8456 There are houses where you sit in the US to watch your TV in Canada, take a walk in Canada to go to your bathroom in the US. I've even heard of one where you sleep in Canada, but, your spouse, sleeping in the same double bet as you, sleeps in the US.
That place is next to Parc de la frontière. There are homes along rue de la frontière that straddle the border of Canada (Quebec) and USA (Maine).

it's so unusual knowing that countries are close to each other especially when I'm from a country that doesn't share any borders with other countries.
Australia?

Actually the Khunjerab Pass drive from Pakistan is not dangerous at all as you have mentioned in the video. The roads are very nice and through there are so many turns, the roads are not very steep.
