Those white leaves on the Birkin WILL turn green, just give them a little time. It doesn't even matter if you move the plant into a dark corner--those excessively white leaves will still grow that way, it is the nature of the plant. It is good to know it is not true albinism--it is a layered leaf and the leaves that appear white will get all the chlorophyll they need from the other leaves while they harden off, and as they age they develop green from the deeper layers.
