The fact that this kid got to sing along side Ricky Skaggs (the man is a legend) is an experience in itself but he's also singing at the grand Ol Opry and to get a standing ovation on top of that. Most ppl only dream of this.
This young man has done an exceptional job being in front of an audience. He definitely has the talent to become a future recording artist. My hats off to you Carson, keep up the good job!

My california friends are always making fun of my kentucky accent, listening to blue moon of Kentucky, while drinking bourbon and cleaning my gun my Cali friend says that's the most american thing I've ever heard. Lol

As a 37 year old that grew up on Bill Monroe. I've watched this video more times than I can count. I can't get over the way that young man did the best job of doing this song. A reincarnation may I say.
Most people don't know this, but Ricky Skaggs was invited to play with Bill Monroe when he was 7. Ricky did the same exact thing, giving this boy a chance of being famous. I'm really hoping this kid continues this tradition.
