Point 12 is perfection 👏👏 great video! Another tip I’d add is regarding the entry gates under the hotel. Usually all the crowds build up in the middle and they don’t realise they can go to the left or right and walk straight through most of the time instead of queuing! As well as the ‘secret’ gates near the DLH entrance/baggage storage. My favourite gates to use in the morning because there’s never anybody else there 🙈
The left side entrance is dedicated to annual pass holders (Magic Plus and Infinity) and a lot of people don’t know it and end up waiting for nothing :/
I would say take your time with the walk through attractions, a lot of people walk through them like they're trying to get somewhere. The themed walk through attractions are exactly what they say they are, themed walk throughs.
They walk trough it, like it’s the queue to a ride or something xD We were there last year with our two year old son and we walked through Aladdin 4 times in a row, because my son wanted to xD
I used to work at Disneyland Paris. If anyone is planning to buy Princess dresses for their kids, avoid the dresses with the hoops in the lining. The most common thing I saw at Disney was kids tripping up and falling over, destroying their dresses getting the front of their dress muddy because of the hoop in the dress, so many people ended up cutting out the hoop, destroying the dress in order to do so. Which shouldn't have to happen.
When I was 5 my mum got me one with a hoop in it, she says that she regretted it because she couldn’t even store it anywhere. I’m going again in 19 days and I’m getting excited as I can’t remember the last time I went which was when I was 5
Regarding the 11th tip, about meeting characters, I used to not care about it at all and in my more recent visits I was kind of led on to actually stop for pictures and autographs and now it's one of my favorite things to do in the parks. I would recommend, if you can, to make a stop at Mickey's House to meet him. I find it an amazing experience!
I agree fully about the walkthrough attractions my friend convinced me to do the nautalis one and its ended up being my 3rd favorite place in the park after phantom manor and Discovery land
Honestly Sam, I have been a silent viewer since planning a DLP trip way back when in 2014. I don't have a DLP trip booked, or even a trip planned, but I love your videos! You helped me plan my birthday trip back in 2017 with your videos! I can't tell you the joy your latest vlogs of your trip has brought me whilst working from home. I honestly feel like I have visited the park with you and felt the magic. I am also very quietly excited to see you get into the marvel universe, you're going to love it! Keep doing what you're doing! xx
American here: The biggest travel myth that I’ve ever encountered is the “French people are rude” myth. Seriously, I have no idea where this came from. Everyone we met in Paris was great, and the Disneyland Paris cast members were honestly nicer than a lot of the cast members at Disneyland California.
My family has had a horrible time in France/Europe because people think they're Romani (we aren't , but even if the were, that wouldn't matter, don't treat people like that). However, I heard a lot of good things about the DLP staff, though.
Guys, I had chats with several cast members last year. Of cause there are several actual french cast members and they are perfectly nice definately, but, you have a huge amount of cast members from many different countries at DLP. For me, a wonderful thing. For echample there are lots of east europeans working and also people from africa that come to france to work at DLP. This way you are not even having "the french experience" in DLP. It is more a european / World culture mix experience. Although I have to say that my experience from 23 years ago was very negative regarding the french people. Many were refusing speaking any other language, so no french= no talk. Nowadays this has changed maybe because younger generations have another mindset. 😊
@@einreaktionskanal hmm well I see your point but if a foreigner goes to an English speaking country it’s also no English = no talk and to be fair as a French person, English speakers for the majority doesn’t even try to speak French (or every other language that is not theirs) because they assume everyone must understand them. To me it’s really selfish to reproach french not to speak English in France like ??? It doesn’t make sense it’s not an English speaking county, I won’t reproach Americans in USA or British in UK not to speak French to me
Personally I have had the same experience. We felt french to be rude. Not in disneyland though. The drivers on the road without a doubt are worst even cyclist.
Love Cafe Fantasia as a means of escape, half an hour with a cocktail or hot chocolate in winter is so good away from the crowds. But shhh, can't have too many people going in.
My tips would be to use the single rider queue if you’re in a party of adults. For rides like Crush & Ratatouille, you don’t get a ride photo so you don’t need to be next to your party for the ride. You can wait drastically less time to ride & often end up in the same car. And the other tip is to pay attention to the ride queues as they have so many details. Pirates & Buzz are my favourite queues for details, but they’re by far the loveliest. A mini tip is to pop to the Videopelis to warm up or cool off depending on the season, and watch cartoons for 20 minutes.
You really nailed it. Disney should ask you to do a video presentation like this one for all bookings, like sending this video as a link ‘how to make the most of your day(s)’ . And I totally agree, French cast members are extremely helpful. The CM’s in the boutique on Main Street where they sell all the ornaments and disney tradition figurines are beyond helpful and clever how to solve taking big boxes with you on the train. They wrapped it up with two big bags and used rope so I could actually carry it around the park and onto to the train home. X
We make it a big deal about service because Disney has a “standard” and when you pay the prices you expect top notch service. And that is true in Paris, India, London…. The world, you pay high end you expect high end service. So when you are “confused” on why people complain about standards not being met that why. Entitled? I mean if that’s the word you want to use…. But at the end of the day Disney has a very high standard for service and we expect that entering these luxury parks. Maybe now you understand.
Have they taken the fast pass system away? Going next weekend to DLP for the first time. So don’t know how it works there and haven’t been to WDW since 2019
Hey! this is the link to the site: www.disneylandparis.com/en-gb/eep Theres nothing there at the moment because most refurbishments are done now. If they do update it it will be here :)
We go to Disneyland Paris during the winter, and always do Crush in the morning. Only had to wait 5 or 10 minutes every time, the rest of the day always had 50-80 minute queues. Never been at the very end of the day though, might give that a go! Going during parade times is also a hack we use for many attractions. We're bringing some first timer friends this month and I'm definitely showing them this video!
Yeah, in quieter months, rope-dropping can still work sometimes - but it's risky. I personally have found the end of the day method for Crush better, but of course it depends :) Thanks for watching and hope you have and your fiends have an amazing trip to DLP! x
That’s so funny how you recommend taking into consideration the cultural differences of the various parks internationally because even in the US I find Walt Disney World in FL and Disneyland Resort in CA so different in terms of customer service. I’m biased, of course, since I live in CA and I feel Disneyland cast members are way more friendlier and the park is much cleaner!😂I’ve never been to Disneyland Paris but your video is spectacular and I am motivated to go there now! Such great and practical advice! 🙏
Aw thanks so much, Marcia :) Also, that's interesting that you can tell the difference between CMs in WDW and Disneyland CA too! I've only ever been to Disneyland Resort in CA once (September 2016) and remember absolutely LOVING it! Hopefully I can go back soon! And maybe see you in Disneyland Paris one day x
I agree with you. I live in CA and I find our cast members to be so kind and on brand. When we went to WDW I found a lot of cast members act like they are working at Target, standing around talking about whatever party they went to the night before. Even the foreign language cast members in Epcot (I understand German and Spanish). I also don't think expecting a similar customer service experience in other countries is so outlandish or ignorant. Disney is a brand, and I'm sure people just assume Disney trains their people from the same handbook everywhere. We are going to DL Paris next year, and I have met enough French people on other vacations to know what to prepare for, but I don't think it's that strange that people are surprised that the customer service doesn't extend to other parks. It might be in a different country, but Disney is American.
I don't know if that changed in the meantime, but about tip 1, the calendar for ride closures is only available for the nex 3 month. I actually thought about "what if my favorite ride is closed, when we go" and I tried to reasearch it, but the info is not available yet. Same for restaurants, I couldn't find any information on what restaurants might be closed in autumn. Any tips on where to find those?
Does Disneyland Paris do buttons and stuff at guest services for special occasions? I loved getting the "first visit" and "engaged!" badges when visiting the Florida parks.
Me and my boyfriend received a "Disney+" button in DLP because we apparently went on Disney+-day! It was a nice surprise because we didn't know, haha. It was our first visit though, but I didn't know you could receive a badge for that as well. :(
Just got back from my trip but I did really enjoy your video! It's funny though, because I wanted to ride crush's coaster at the end of the day but 5 minutes before closing it had a 70 minute qeue, with 60 minutes for the single riders.
I had 2 day vip pass that i can get all rides quick access through disbable I had a nice compliment on my stitch mask and someone ask if i can do attack on titan pose because I was wearing attack on titan cloak that i brought from universal studios
May i ask you if you have ever gone to disneyland in california? And what made you want to go to walt disney world? My goal in life is to go to all the disneyarks in the world
Thank you so much for sharing these. I can't wait for my first trip to DLP and I'm going to follow your advice and wait till the end of the day for Crush coaster
Thanks for the tips which were really nice. Wanted to ask if it's possible to cover both parks in one day considering we enter first thing in the morning? We want to do a specific set of rides which we have identified. Thanks
I have rope dropped Crush and I definitely had to run to get ahead of the crowds and still waited in line, on another day I rope dropped Big Thunder Mountain and was one of the first to ride! I will definitely be trying out riding Crush at the end of the day on my next trip 😊 Totally agree about the French cast member tip, it always feels extra magical in DLP when a cast member makes magic!
Yeah, it's weird how rope dropping often does work well for Big Thunder Mountain, but not for Crush! Ahh agreed, pixie dust feels extra magical at Disneyland Paris :)
Hello, I´ll spend just a day in Eurodisney. I´m with a big doubt: Do I buy ticket only for 'Disneyland' (1 park) or also for 'Walt Disney Studios' (2 parks)? PS.: In 3D I don´t even play, because I have "motion sickness".
I went to DLP for the 1st time in July, 2022 and I only made one mistake! I didn't visit the Disneyland Hotel for hot chocolate! I have a few tips for anyone used to the US parks. 1) There's no Dole Whip!! 2) While cheaper than the US, the photo pass is not great. There are no photographers in the parks and there are way less photos taken on rides. 3) There are no fans/heaters/AC while waiting in line. Even with those drawbacks, DLP is highly recommended !! I will definitely return for Star Wars, Frozen and the newly opened Avengers Academy! Great video!
I’m an American living in Germany with the military and going to DLP in august. I appreciate all of these.. including tip number 12. A lot of my American friends say don’t expect the American experience. They were all upset about it but American customer service is …. Just extreme. It’s what we are use to!!!! But, living in Germany I can tell it’s just not the same here in Europe in general.
I'm stationed in Germany and there's direct tgv train to Paris from the city where I stationed. Military discount wasn't valid unless you go there +2days, but paris Disney is quite small comparing to other Disneylands. (:
I've never in my whole life been to Disneyland Paris always wanted to go all my life it's literally been a life long dream but never been hope there are some good fast rides there
Good question! Early Feb is off season and normally pretty quiet, cheap(er) and COLD. Park hours can also be a little bit shorter. Early May will be a bit warmer, but also somewhat busier. Personally speaking, I prefer May to February in Disneyland Paris as the spring time atmosphere feels nicer. But February can be great if you want to get a lot of stuff done with shorter wait times x
Heard that the crowds and general free for all to get on bus from park back to hotel is a bit of a nightmare. People with literally no manners pushing and shoving to get on a bus. Guessing i will be trying to opt to taxi back each night.
Hey Sam quick question , for a full board meal plan , do we have to do reservations for our own hotel’s breakfast area ? Or they will provide vouchers morning of everyday ?
My trip is in 3 months and I am watching majority of your videos for advice! As we are going in October, my favorite video was ofcourse the Hot Chocolate!
Oh of course! I’m not taking about extra magic hours here. A lot of people don’t have access to extra magic time and Walt Disney Studios very rarely has it, depending on the time of year x
In my last trip to Disneyland I was pregnant. Now I'm waiting the momento to go with my baby. Meanwhile, your videos keep my brain on magic. Thanks for sharing your time there with us. 🇪🇸
Awesome video Sam! Thanks for share so many tips with us. Those tips will help a lot on my first time at DLP. Can you give an advise please? I'll be in Paris over Christmas, and my plan is to go to DLP on December 25th. I'm not a super fan of rides, so I'm going more for the walking through attractions, shows and restaurants. Would I be fine doing both parks on the same day, or would be better to do one park per day? Thank you in advance for your attention.
100% agree on the walkthrough attractions and the incredibly detailed and convenient Arcades! And the customer service was great, I didn't think it was "worse" than Florida or California in any way. My American "expectations" only have to be checked on the speed of quick/counter food service, which is true for most places outside of the States in general, not just France or DLP.
Thanks Cameron, good to read your thoughts on this from an American perspective :) I agree that "Quick Service" in DLP is pretty slow, though... but I doubt DLP can ever compete with American fast service with that one haha! x
Coming from Kuwait, Nowhere can be really hot other than a volcano, summer time in kuwait can reach temperatures up to 54 degrees celsius, slightly above half boiling 😅😂
I adore Eeyore and really wanna meet him around Halloween. I also booked Character Dinner (and Princess Lunch) on 2 days. Can you tell me any other good option of how or at what places to find my lovely donkey? The app says around Mainstreet, but maybe there is a specific other spot he likes, too?
@@VanlifePlus- Oh, ok, that's nice. Sorry, I don't believe this is really Sam speaking cause this is a common scam. If I'm mistaken, I'm sorry, cause I really like and support the real Sam. She doesn't need to give me anything for that (- just new content 😄).
I was wondering about book in times as they tend to be late in the day. Just checked. Check in time is 15.00pm. If you arrive earlier you can leave your luggage in their left luggage and go to the parks. Check out is 11am. You can do the same and collect it when it's time to go. Very useful. That saves booking another nights stay somewhere else.
At the peak times for attractions, meaning 14h-17h, this is a good idea to go to the walkthrough yes, but also at La Reine des Neiges. La Reine des Neiges has at least 45 minutes of queue and after 17h30 it's usually closed. As we can't avoid this queue this is a good time for it.
So glad I never made one of these mistakes, not even on my first visit. Sorry, character interactions at the US Parks are way better. You can even meet much more characters in a shorter time.
That’s fair, from my experience, particularly at Walt Disney World, character interactions are normally very rushed. In Disneyland CA they’re a bit better, but still not on the level of Paris imo 🤷🏻♀️ Obviously, I’m just speaking generally - I’ve had great character interactions in ALL the Disney parks.
@@Sam4G0d Honestly nothing beats the character interactions we had in DLP in the 90ies. Main Street and also the rest of the park was full of characters, no queuing noting, they just walked there ....
I keep noticing bloggers saying to Americans to not expect France to be like America culturally etc. Why on earth would anyone think that they're going to another country, they won't find a potentially completely different culture or way of life and attitude? Even travelling from one European country to another or one Asian country to another I've noticed day and night differences. In other news ... excellent video!
Hey ya Sam, thanks for sharing all your tips! I‘m gonna be in DLP for the very first time in October and your Videos are helping me planing my stay and make the most of it (i‘ll be celebrating my Birthday there on my own^^) is there anything that has changed since you‘ve uploaded this Video? Besides you now have to pay for Fast Passes.
Hello :) FastPasses are really the main thing that have changed since. And the Lineberty app is no longer needed for any character meets at the moment x
Never understand why people ropedrop Crush’s Coaster! I’ve also noticed people / families with buggies RUNNING to get in the que for the Princess Pavilion?! Would you say there is a better time to do that? I qued for Princess Pavilion while the parade was on and still waited 2 hours (it was for Rapunzel / Ariel!) so have no idea when the best time to go would be! Great video 🙌🏻 Completely forgot about being able to get more than one fast pass at a time 🤦🏻♀️ xx
I know! The early morning rush to Crush has become so pointless in the past few years, especially... Ahh, Princess Pavillion is a difficult one - I'd say Parade Time is the best time, but as you said, it can still take hours if it's a particularly busy day. A lot of people use their extra magic hours in the morning to start queuing for it, but I personally wouldn't do that either. It's a tough one! Will be interesting to see what it's like when they start using it for Princess meets again. Thank you, Lauren! :) x

I'm glad it's still like that for you over there over at America you have to be DVC to do all that
I'm going to bring my kids to disneyland they are 5 and 8 which one should I go to? I've no clue what is is 1 and in number 2? Thank you!
You might want to go to Disneyland Park and not Walt Disney Studio since it has
more attractions and it closes later (usually 11 pm instead of 8pm)
Thank you so much for sharing these. I can't wait for my first trip to DLP and I'm going to follow your advice and wait till the end of the day for Crush coaster
You're most welcome :) Good luck with Crush, hopefully it'll work out for you x
Thanks for the tips which were really nice. Wanted to ask if it's possible to cover both parks in one day considering we enter first thing in the morning? We want to do a specific set of rides which we have identified. Thanks
I have rope dropped Crush and I definitely had to run to get ahead of the crowds and still waited in line, on another day I rope dropped Big Thunder Mountain and was one of the first to ride! I will definitely be trying out riding Crush at the end of the day on my next trip 😊
Totally agree about the French cast member tip, it always feels extra magical in DLP when a cast member makes magic!
Yeah, it's weird how rope dropping often does work well for Big Thunder Mountain, but not for Crush! Ahh agreed, pixie dust feels extra magical at Disneyland Paris :)
@@Sam4G0d it is very strange, I guess too many people go for Crush lol
@@Sam4G0d i’m going to definitely try your tip…
Im now in the car we are riding to Disney land im so excited!
Can you get the chocolate with vegetable milk?
Hello,
I´ll spend just a day in Eurodisney. I´m with a big doubt:
Do I buy ticket only for 'Disneyland' (1 park) or also for 'Walt Disney Studios' (2 parks)?
PS.: In 3D I don´t even play, because I have "motion sickness".
Point four what’s the name of the app
Love your videos on Disneyland Paris!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks so much James :)
Think I’m guna take your advice about the rides, such w good idea. And I’m guna take my time with the walk throughs
Thank you for the tips, this video was helpful
You're most welcome - thanks for watching :)
Not having fans/heaters/AC is definetely not a drawback. Just wear appropriate apparel.
I've never in my whole life been to Disneyland Paris always wanted to go all my life it's literally been a life long dream but never been hope there are some good fast rides there
Hello Sam! Is it better to visit Disneyland Paris in early Feb or early May?
Good question! Early Feb is off season and normally pretty quiet, cheap(er) and COLD. Park hours can also be a little bit shorter. Early May will be a bit warmer, but also somewhat busier. Personally speaking, I prefer May to February in Disneyland Paris as the spring time atmosphere feels nicer. But February can be great if you want to get a lot of stuff done with shorter wait times x
Wow ! Love your videos !! Amaziing ❤🎉❤
Does anyone know if the disneyland paris shuttle stops at the eiffel tower still? It doesn't have it listed on the ticket but it's on the website
Thanks a lot
Heard that the crowds and general free for all to get on bus from park back to hotel is a bit of a nightmare. People with literally no manners pushing and shoving to get on a bus.
Guessing i will be trying to opt to taxi back each night.
Hi ! What's the cost of the ears?
Is there still free fast pass
What's your tips for quick service restaurants at the parks?
In terms of which ones are the best, you mean? I’m happy to do a full video on this if you’d like ☺️
@@Sam4G0d that would be great. Too easy to stop off at Cafe Hyperion like you say, due to their placement.
Hello! I’m dying to go to DLP soon. Which restaurants would you say are the best?
I’m going to Disneyland for the first time ever and I’m so exited!
Hey Sam quick question , for a full board meal plan , do we have to do reservations for our own hotel’s breakfast area ? Or they will provide vouchers morning of everyday ?
I assume you’ve probably already gone, but for anyone else reading this, no you don’t have to book your own hotels breakfast
This video is really helpful! I’m going at the end of august/beginning of september, thank you for your tips 💛
Glad you found it helpful, hope you have the most lovely time when you go! :)
I saw Pinocchio a few times in Disneyland Anaheim in March.
were planning on going to disney land paris for the first time so helpfull
Eat where you want. Not where people tell you to eat. You won't regret it.
My trip is in 3 months and I am watching majority of your videos for advice! As we are going in October, my favorite video was ofcourse the Hot Chocolate!
Crush coaster is best in the morning!! Extra magic hours is the best time to do it
Oh of course! I’m not taking about extra magic hours here. A lot of people don’t have access to extra magic time and Walt Disney Studios very rarely has it, depending on the time of year x
Going for my first time in 2 weeks! It’s for my 11th birthday, but it was supposed to be for my 9th..
Amazing - have fun!
wats thenapp again plz? lineberty?
In my last trip to Disneyland I was pregnant. Now I'm waiting the momento to go with my baby. Meanwhile, your videos keep my brain on magic.
Thanks for sharing your time there with us. 🇪🇸
What are the apps needed called?
Actually, most of these tips can be used at any of the Disney Parks.🥰
Awesome video Sam! Thanks for share so many tips with us. Those tips will help a lot on my first time at DLP. Can you give an advise please? I'll be in Paris over Christmas, and my plan is to go to DLP on December 25th. I'm not a super fan of rides, so I'm going more for the walking through attractions, shows and restaurants. Would I be fine doing both parks on the same day, or would be better to do one park per day? Thank you in advance for your attention.
What is fast past?
100% agree on the walkthrough attractions and the incredibly detailed and convenient Arcades!
And the customer service was great, I didn't think it was "worse" than Florida or California in any way. My American "expectations" only have to be checked on the speed of quick/counter food service, which is true for most places outside of the States in general, not just France or DLP.
Thanks Cameron, good to read your thoughts on this from an American perspective :) I agree that "Quick Service" in DLP is pretty slow, though... but I doubt DLP can ever compete with American fast service with that one haha! x
And where is the best to buy tickets? 🌻
Took my little girl to Disneyland Paris last week. We had a great time ☺️
Glad you had a lovely time :)
Thanks for watching. You have been randomly selected amoung my shortlisted winners.

There last week the amount of times avengers flight force was down my partner was inside ready to go on and technical issues
THANKS for watching commenting and showing love and for the feedback Expect more videos Soon, a direct message I have something special for you
At the peak times for attractions, meaning 14h-17h, this is a good idea to go to the walkthrough yes, but also at La Reine des Neiges. La Reine des Neiges has at least 45 minutes of queue and after 17h30 it's usually closed. As we can't avoid this queue this is a good time for it.
Thanks for the feedback, Expect more video very soon, send a directiy message on telegram I have something for you
So glad I never made one of these mistakes, not even on my first visit.
Main Street and also the rest of the park was full of characters, no queuing noting, they just walked there ....
great video. i dare anyone to do a drinking game while shes talking about fast passes... you'll be hammered XD
Check out the high ropes course in the forest at Devy Crockets Ranch.
I looove disneyland paris. I was there last july 24, 2023❤🎉 i had a pictures with goofy
Very good! Thanks!
Cute rainbow bow
Thanks 😊
awesome thank you!
