Same here. I like it because in the end, the root need for exsistance and living things all end up being self serving. That is the cost. Life grows whenever it can, absorbing, transforming, for itself and its own design... but(and) there are also entities of life that thrive off of our wastes, they may ultimately do as we did on our road to ruin. You might fight with everyone for resource, each giving reason to why they should have everything, but(and) ultimately the moralist wishes for there to be no fighting, no struggle (wash it all away) Wherever there is a platform for life to exsist it will be there.
