Bought this printer last fall and got it all set up except the input shaping and external screen. soon I’ll have those done too thanks to your helpful video., appreciate your efforts!
Looks like a nice printer. This has to have the most information in a video for this printer. You even upgraded the darn display with a custom case. Hey @biqu get the guy a working ducky 😊
Thanks! I really didn't know how I was going to put this video together. Had all these ideas, then the firmware had to made its voice heard. Plus I wanted to add some value to the video by doing an upgrade. I was on another person's stream where a viewer mentioned that he doesn't see me do upgrades anymore. Well, frankly a lot of the machines over the last year or so have been coming with great features out of the box. Yes, I have a defective duck 😐
Great video! Your video was my inspiration to bought HDMI7 screen for my Hurakan... After a long days waiting to receive, finally arrived... But, I don't know why, in my case the screen not worked (work in other device normally). Not even Bigtreeetech support could say the reason. :(
14:00 don't want to start an argument here but solder is way more reliable than any other type of pressure connection since is already connected with pressure by the screw.. you just added another less reliable connection PS. but get it ,that clamping tool looks cool and probably was screaming for a bit of action :)
I would be tempted to mod that screen case so the cables are at the back as they would drive me mad at the side, it means buying either a pair of male to female cables or making some up from chopped up cables.
I totally agree! When I did the BTT PAD5 review, I got adapters that wrapped around the case perfectly for the USB so they were not sticking out. Was going to see if they had the same thing available for the HDMI and USBC.
@@TripodsGarage those right-angled cables would be good for this case as you could either plug them in the stock case or print the case with an extension to the right hand side of the case to house the plugs and exit the other end from the back.
Well, I need some help. At the moment, I have a card in my Hurakan, and it has the firmware you talk about in this video, but unlike before, as in before I friend my Hurakan, nothing's happening. To be clear: I bought a brand new Manta4, a new CB1, new stepper drivers (version 1.3 this time instead of 1.2), and a new 7" monitor because when I fry a board, I fry everything. Here's my question: Do I need to load something on the board, and the CB1 BEFORE I load the 2.2.1 firmware? Your help would be appreciated. Mark / Corlissmedia2.0.
I thought this was such a great idea to add to my hurakan and a credit to a great video. However my printer powers down during a print when ever my hdmi7 btt screen is connected. Did you have the same issues if you could help ke gind out what the problem is. Klipper show as KLIPPER HAS SHUT DOWN - MCU SHUTDOWN
z axis wont go down,. i have no idea how to investigate this issue, i tried to reflash the os card with balana etcher and it gives me error: (0, h.requestMetadata) is not a function help please!
What camera did you get to work with the Hurakan? Ive tried 2 different ones and the USB on the back will not power them even though they are both low rez.
Looks like a good printer, should be a better first printer than a Creality. The Easter egg was great. I couldn't tell - do you have the special tips for the heat set inserts?
Yeah, these manufactures are really setting the bar higher! Update to the newest firmware, hopefully that will permanently solve all the issues. Had to put that Easter Egg in! No special soldering tip needed for the heat set inserts.

That is awesome! Enjoy your printer, thanks for watching and commenting!
Your Klipper Screen mod is EXACTLY what I've been looking for!!!!!
hope this becomes industry standard
I recovered my printer with the Hurakan file in that trio of files. So at this point, I think I'm already there!
Great video, thanks.
Nice input shaping comparison at the end .
I really hope you'll do a video about updating the noisy fans on this printer!
Good tip on using the flush cutters to hold the insert down! Seems obvious to do, I feel dumb fighting with those...
Thanks! Figured use tools that most people that own a 3D printer might have 👍. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Great detailed review John. Well done. Looks like a decent printer.
Thanks! With the new firmware, it is a great printer. Now I am part of the Klipper family!
@@TripodsGarage Welcome to the club... enjoy the ride... it's an addicting one LOL

merci pour ta vidéo très intéressante ca ma beaucoup aider !!
Would love to see an h2 extruder on one of these rigs
I put shaping still needs some tweaking on mine. 1st go 'round didn't really eliminate the ringing or I have other issues.

This accelerometer is designed to fit on the back of a 'Orbit' extrudr

The ADXL looks like it's shaped to go on the back of a sherpa/orbital extruder stepper motor
Can the hurakan use the tft35 spi? thanks for sharing ❤

Where is your text cube hanging out? I checked Thangs / your site, and it wasn't there?
Let me add it in the description social.thangs.com/m/500608
