Peter, finally we come to see you actually performing !. I Was quite moved by your elegant, old school (in a good sense!) way of playing Bach, the Chromatic Fantasy is a marvelous and very personal rendition. Masterful. All my respect for your craft and watching the episodes with only music was very touching too. Thanks for creating this long soundtrack video.
@@SergioValenzuela Thank you for your kind words regarding my play. I was in doubt about publishing this as it certainly can't compare to the play of one of the great masters, but it's personal, as you said, and I've tried my best. Thank you so very much! 😊
As pianist Jeremy Denk wrote somewhere, in the end .".. The best Bach may be the one you play... " Nothing compares to the experience of being able, regardless of proficiency level , to dive into his music. Your playing is great and very musical, would hear to an album totally. Best!.
Thank you very much for your kind words. I'm just a small amateur but if these recordings have made you discover new things, then that's more than I could ever wish for. 😊
"small amateur" Your delicate playing and musicality tells quite the opposite ;) Your animated Bach series are such a joy to watch, I wish you a wonderful weekend!
Thank you for your kind words, but when I hear myself play I'm hearing all of the errors. 😅 But I do put all of my heart and soul in it. Thank you for your words of encouragement... that's so kind of you. 😊
Oh, it surprised me. Last week, I planned to go through all episodes again and dropped down the music list at the end of each film. Right now, you are so kind to release the soundtrack, thank you very much. How come you have passion in Bach? It takes a lot of time and research to prepare the series of Bach story. Can't imagine that your team put much much effort in it.
Oh, let's just say that Bach's been a love story for all of my life. No music resonates so well with me and I wanted to share this with the World, as Bach seems to be the most misunderstood of all the great composers. Thank you so much for your kind words. It is a lot of work indeed but comments like yours make it all worth it. Thank you once more. 😊
Thank you very much, Patrick. I chose those works which I believed best fitted the story and it fills me with joy knowing that you appreciate it so much. Thank you once more!
This is an epic journey, and I can't wait to sit down and follow along. The animation, storytelling, and music wonderfully bring Bach's genius to life. Thank you for creating such a captivating and educational series!
Thank you very much for these incredible comments. It's been a long and hard journey for me as well, as you've probably have noticed as the series progresses, but comments like yours make it all worth it. Thank you once more! 😊
I really enjoyed your wonderful work through this YT serie and now in lossless quality on my hifi sound system. Its allowed me to discover some new pearls of JSB. One single question, do you plan to make other series on other composer ? Good continuation.
Thank you for your wonderful comments. About other composers... It's taken me 6 years to arrive here and I'm not at the end yet. Whilst I keep learning about how to make animations, the workload becomes bigger too. Plus the series will continue also after Bach's death. So after all the work's done I think that I'm first going to take a long holiday and then see if I can motivate myself to start over again for another composer. 😅
Very wonderful stuff The organ here versus the original one from the episode for andante in e minor sounds different That one sounds better This one sounds like wind instruments
Well, the original one is in ep. 10 so you can always listen to it there. But have you listened to the entire new version? It starts off with the soft, flute-like organ sound, but gradually builds as more voices are added. 😉

That one sounds better
This one sounds like wind instruments
My apologies then, because I preferred this sound... Thank you for your compliments. 😊
@BachTheAnimatedSeries
Please post that one as well
But if you can't it's ok

Thanks for this! One of the episodes features a flute solo. What's the name of that piece?
Thank you! I think that you're referring to the final scene of ep. 15. It is the Sarabande of Bach's Partita in A minor for flute solo, BWV1013.
Yes. Thank you! 🙂
14- JSB.
Grazie mille! 😊
