That’d be awesome
Yea bro, old fellow J is a real boss
@1:26 “Expedition Unknown” on the travel channel has some episodes on the de-extinction of the Woolly Mammoth. Fascinating stuff.
This was such a refreshing interview, no politics or drama, just pure easy going and fascinating convo about mother nature.
If that guy dies and gets a movie about his life, Chris Pratt would play him.
@John Williams That's like making a movie about Robin Williams or Bob Ross.. They won't dare touch such beloved people..
At this point it's probably be the Rock!
No, Mack from Its Always Sunny should play him haha
@Michael Anthony The movie about your life would be called "The story of a depressed loser /case for euthanasia "
@Michael Anthony I just finished this video so let me get more popcorn :)
So technically speaking he’s African American.
GradyRho92 more than most people
Hes from Rhodesia
@@Foxmccloud69 I don't think he's old enough to have been born in Rhodesia. Didn't Rhodesia get renamed to Zimbabwe in the late seventies or something? This guy looks maybe 35.
Your point being...
How do you spot a white African? He’ll tell you
53:35
Joe talks about a werewolf: "They're so smart it's like a wolf and a human are combined."
Forrest, laughingly: "I don't believe that per say."
Joe: **ugly stare** "yeaaaa"
13:55 in the video, when Joe mentioned medicine,He's right pectoral switches twice. Micro-tell?
Get DAVID ATTENBOROUGH on the JRE
Holy crap yes
nah man, that'd be too legit.
That would be awesome
Not much chance of that.
Can you imagine...David Attenborough....talking to Joe....while taking a page out of William Shatner's book....by pausing between narration.....
This was one of the first episodes I watched all the way through from start to finish in a lonnnng time. Get these type of people on and get rid of the politics.
Why? It's important for people to be exposed to views different from their own. This is the best format for that
@@dirtymustard928 its not different views though joe just agrees with every guest and whatever their stance is
The large international audience is pretty sick of US politics at this point.
@@bw4500 many in the US are tired of US politics
Does it really need to be said that no one has to watch every video? Read the description first, save yourself and everyone from your disgust and disappointment.
Come on Rogan and Forrest; Jaguars are in general slightly bigger than a Leopard. Jaguars are ranked as the third biggest cat.
I could listen to him talk about wildlife and nature all day. It's great to listen to someone talk about what they truly love
One of my favourite podcasts!. This guy needs to find the Tasmanian tiger.
And come back to talk about it.
If he dont find it ill go look for it for. $1mil
@Raun Smith calm down bud
Joe: Asks question.
Forrest Galante: "That's not really my area of expertise."
Joe: Asks 12 more questions about that same thing.
Joe is really good at getting people to talk about stuff they don't like to talk about or talk about stuff they don't believe in ect
@@enigma1247 I think sometimes he just has something stuck in his head and it's going to be the topic of conversation no matter who is in front of him. If he's thinking about the Mongol Empire and there's an Astro-physicist in front of him, they're talking about the Mongol Empire.
Joe: Asks question.
Forrest Galante: "That's not really my area of expertise."
...
the end?
Say it isn't so JOE! hahahaha!
No you ask about something in his expertise, Joe Is a pseudo-intellictuist so if he thinks something may sound smart he’ll say it no matter the context
Love to see an expert happily say
“I don’t know”
Nothing worse than an ignorant know it all
It's also the times, I've always had pocket knives. In high school, guns were in the back window racks of almost every pick-up. Hunting before and after school. I'm only 58.
my dad says the same about when he was younger, he's just a few years younger than you.
when i was in high school 5 years ago the police would be called on anything that *could be considered a weapon." it didn't have to even be a knife, God knows what they would have done if someone saw a gun in a window despite nearly every adult in our area carrying guns.
an aquantince of mine was sent home for having a pair of nail clippers that had a fold out nail file with the little hook to scrape under your nails. they said it was basically a shank. even to us it was ridiculous.
another thing i remember is i had a joke lighter that would shock your hand a bit when you tried to light it. it was just something to mess with my friends. it couldn't actually light at all but it was confiscated and put in a special bag, then i was sat in the office with the principal, the vice principal and the school police officer while they called my parents and informed them of the situation. then they threatened me with suspension if i had any more "offenses" in the future. it was so bizarre and my parents were confused but just said to be careful what i bring to school.
Carried one in high school, just in case, 2004-08, but never told anyone. Rural hometown, but still Southern California. Never can tell.
This dude's straight up legit and genuine
Chillin in the jungle would make a man legitimate for sure hahahaha
Bruh straight up how legit?

Love your podcast. Nice pastime for this isolation times. Glad you keep doing them.
So this kid got rolled by an alligator, shattered his harm and leg, and was able to paddle back to his village? Holy shit!
Real man
@@sinofsolitude5884 True, but you only hear about the ones who made it back.
I really appreciate the self fact checking from Joe. And it's really nice to have someone (like Forest) admit to not knowing something, rather than talk so like they do.
Most people don't make shit up when they don't know outside of the U.S.
Very Interesting guest, Would love to see more biologists or explorers and hear their stories.
Literally my favorite guest EVER on this show! So smart and loads of fascinating things
I like most the guests

He couldn't find a tighter shirt in a men's size.
When you got that much masculine...
...it's about balance...
how tf you know what a blouse is?
Dude is legit. Even actually writing down notes because he's genuinely interested.
Forrest Galante is my favorite person on Joe's podcast. Such a humble guy, not a bullshitter. I genuinely enjoy listening to him.

Yep, total fraud and you gulped it down. Hook, line, and sinker.

Watching this now during the covid thing going on it was creepy hearing them talking about crazy virus's .....
