Roof tent camping: A good campervan alternative?

Roof tent camping has surged in recent years. To find out why, we hit the road in an Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 Basecamp, equipped with an Arb Esperance hard shell roof top tent. It features quilted insulation, an easy access ladder and even a Skyview window.
The camping kit doesn't end there though. This particular Isuzu D-Max additionally has an Arb modular roller drawer system complete with slide-out kitchen, fridge, three-burner gas stove and a 12-litre sink.
