The traffic infraction in this situation is at 30:30 when they fail to yield at a stop sign therefor giving the officers the legal reason to conduct a traffic stop. The officers then had the legal ability to remove any occupants from the vehicle do to Pennsylvania v. Mimms. However this is a game.

It's like a quarterback nickel and diming the defense on checkdowns and slants all day just to let it rip over a sleeping defense to a wide open go route. Some Houdini shit right there.

I love how you see Jeff in the background like 3 times before this happened and you get a glimpse of this pursuit from his perspective. If Jeff was in that pursuit it would've been a different outcome for them, but with the context from their perspective the shootout makes sense now! Makes me wonder if the boys would have handled this differently if they knew that the Lexus had been BOLOd earlier due to it being at the garage?
