Social service unit sherubtse

The Social Service Unit of Sherubtse College was founded in 1984 and thereafter the Kanglung Community as well as other communities have been receiving financial and manual support. The SSU adopts the needy people without proper guidance and looks after their needs and welfare. Under this program, the SSU has adopted Mr. Tenzin who is a 73 years old man residing in Ritsangdung. He is partially blind and has trouble walking due to old age. His spouse passed away a year ago and he is currently living with his niece. The SSU helped him with funeral rites of his late wife.
As our adoption is growing, just like any growing family, more resources are required to sustain the family. It is our greatest hope that you will contribute to help us sustain our family so as to keep supporting people like Mr. Tenzin.
Therefore the SSU would like to request the graduates of Sherubtse College and the old members of the SSU to help us in keeping the service flowing.
