Always a good time to see you visit my home park again! You probably don’t remember me but I said hi to you when the park opened that day and we were in line for front row on Candymonium. Definitely wish we could’ve talked more as your channel is one of the biggest reasons I got so into coasters! I definitely agreed with a lot of your opinions in this video like with Wildcat. I personally really like the ride and the roughness isn’t too bad for me. I think the layout has potential and a GCI hybrid could show that! Here’s hoping to another good Hershey season next year and let us pray for storm runner and looper to be revived!
I love Christmas Candylane, from 2010 till 2018 I had been going every year, last year went to Busch Gardens for Christmas Town, although we were planning on going to Christmas Candylane, but we were invited down to Williamsburg by my aunt and uncle, so we went and spent a weekend in Williamsburg. I loved Christmas Town it does best Christmas Candylane, but since Hersheypark is closer I will always be going there more, unfortunately with COVID restrictions this year I won't be going. :'( I'm glad I got to watch your vlog. I am glad that you got to see the NOEL light show and enjoyed it. It's my favorite part of going at Christmas time and I love when they play Trans-Siberian Orchestra! I have seen them in concert before, they're amazing!!! If you haven't seen them, you've got to make a point to see them someday when concerts get going again. The reindeer are nice to see, but no one has been allowed to pet them ever since I've been going. I also love going to the zoo during Christmas Candylane, especially when there's snow on the ground! Hersheypark with the lights is so beautiful with snow and so is Zoo America, the animals are real active when it snows!
I really would like to go here this winter. The light display looks amazing. Having not been to Hersheypark since I was a baby, it would be cool to get some credits too.
I consider it as a time to do things I don’t normally get to do during the main season because I’m always trying to do as many coasters as humanly possible so I like to go on the train the flyers claw pirate starship tilts whirl and see the lights it’s a nice event in my opinion
I WAS LITERALLY THERE HOW DID I NOT SEE YOU?!?!?!?! It was sad, I was too big for Candymonium... (I’m 6’6 lmao) Oddly enough the only coaster I fit on was Sidewinder (didn’t go on Wildcat, too big for Laff Trakk).
Actually back in September when I rode wildcat the line stretched pretty far back like it started around 100ft from the front enterance of the ride and they were running 2 trains so it was pretty long
Candymonium was my 200th credit last week. Best ride ops on a B&M hyper ever, they didn't even try to staple me. I was wearing my ACE shirt and had the 200 sign so they probably knew exactly what I was doing. But still, point is they beat the Apollo's Charriot crew. Which I only experienced at a private event for coaster enthusiasts. And ironic, Comet was my 4th credit. Weird one of my first coasters ever and 200 were in the same park.
Went there a few weeks ago and had fast passes. Got a few rides on Candymonium including a front ride and a back row night ride. I liked it for the most part, but many people when we went didn’t follow distancing policies. I rode Sidewinder and nobody was enforcing any distancing and no assigned seats they just had people fill up the station with no direction.
I wonder if the issue could be lack of staffing, as well as minimum operating temperature. Them not running he Intamins is probably minimum operating temperature but If they can run Wildcat, they should be able to run Lightning Racer, as you said. If they can run Candymonium, they should be able to run Great Bear.

Yes Taylor, Reesies are disgusting because THAT’S NOT WHAT THEY’RE CALLED 😂😂 I don’t know if it’s because Hershey is my home park or people from Pennsylvania just say it differently (or it could be what part of the state I’m from) but I’ve always been told it’s pronounced without the “ies” sound
I think Hersheypark can’t operate the Intamin’s because they run on urethane wheels which burn off speed much quicker in cold weather than the wheels on a B&M or a wooden coaster.

I went to HersheyPark in 2014 when i was 6 but i only rode the chocolate dark ride we didn’t go in the actual park at least I don’t think so

Reese's tower was running great this past summer, it was only recently that they toned it down
