I have seen other Patrick Ta blush tutorials and understand he recommends using the powder first and place the cream on top. Not sure why as it is counterintuitive. I think I would prefer it the way you applied the duo.
I had meh thoughts about the Patrick Ta blush duo until I tried it his way with the powder down first and then the cream on top. Seems weird but the formula works well that way and it adds a beautiful life to the cheeks. The powder is more pigmented and provides the bulk of the color with the cream just bringing out the life and glow of the cheeks but less pigment.
@@lisajmakeup Yes, Patrick Ta suggest powder first then the creme. Seems counter intuitive but it's nice. I use the powder as my main blush pigment and the creme as a very light topper.
As usual, a perfectly lovely look. I’ve been using the Dior lash primer and I have to say I love it, much more so than the L’Oreal, which is what I had been using. Thanks for the suggestion. You are so brave to do all this wearing a white blouse. I could never do that. 😊
Oh my gosh you are using some of my all time fav products! The Hourglass foundation is a new fav for every day and that Makeup Forever concealer is now my #1, that Patrick Ta blush is the one I recently took on our trip to California- love it!( I use the powder first and then the cream and it seems to all blend beautifully), and that Nars Dolce Vita is divine! I’ve been topping it with the Fenty Gloss Bomb in Sweet Mouth and it’s a dream combo 😊 For anyone looking for a similar eyeshadow product/colour story/look at a more affordable price maybe check out the Milani Gilded Mini in “Whisky Business “. It’s a gorgeous formula and everything you need for a matte neutral look which you can also level up to a more smokier glam date night look ❤ Thanks so much beautiful Lisa! Xo 🇨🇦
Hi Lisa. I'm so glad that you're trying the Hourglass Hydrating Skin Tint Foundation. It looks so very pretty on your skin. Love a good neutral eye. I have dark brown eyes, and still gravitate towards nude brown colors. Have you picked up the Natasha Denona I Need a Nude Palette? I just ordered mine, and can't wait for it. I really like the Patrick Ta blushes. His concept of powdering first and then using the cream blush is quite unique. You look stunning as always. ❤🩷💓
That blush just livens your *beautiful* face right up!! I can't afford Patrick Ta, but if I could get it, I would. 🙃 I think u do the best tutorial videos and your GRWM's, I really *LOVE* !! You explain everything so well. *Thank you* !! You and @Tati are 2 of my favorite makeup artists!
Aww...thank you, Stephanie! I feel grateful to do what I do. Thank you for taking time out of your day to watch my channel and comment. Have a lovely day 💖
I have just recently found you videos and I am loving them. I do have a question on mascara, I am trying a bunch of different brands trying to my favorite and would love your suggestions. I have been using the Dior primer for several years and love it (prior to that I used Prescriptives). I like the Dior mascara as well. Also, I have tried the Chantecaille Faux Cils Longest Lash Mascara that is boosted with a lash peptide (the tube was given to me by my niece) and I love it but I want to be sure that it is worth the price. I would love your opinion on this. Thanks.
Looks beautiful Lisa! I live in 200% HUMIDITY Houston....I'm saying this because you know how hot it has been in Texas since the 1st of June. I got 2 sample colors in the Hourglass Veil Tint (one being 7)......it melted off my face. I love Hourglass in general, I think it is very 'mature' skin friendly so I am going to revisit the product when we have cooled down a bit. I've yet to buy that Mario Palette but I think I'm going to have to during the VIB sale...I've watched so many beautiful looks come together using that palette!!!! It's time!!! I bought the DM Yummy Skin Blurring Balm last winter when you were in love with it. My winter shade is 3.5....I really need to get the 4 for summertime. It's so good!!!! See ya soon..
I love that By Mario eyeshadow palette Lisa, that shade that’s next to the almost black shade is the perfect shade for filling in my brows, I use it every time I’m wearing makeup even if it’s just for my brows and Fun Fact about Me, if I’m wearing White when putting on my makeup, I can almost guarantee that I have to get changed because I’ve gotten makeup on my either white jeans or white shirt Lol 😂, back to the video now…🩷🩷🩷🇦🇺🫶🏻🫶🏻…Beautiful as always Lisa, I loved the eyes, it’s mainly what I wear all the time, I have all these eyeshadow palettes and mostly use the same ones, sometimes I’ll add another shade from another palette just to mix it up just a tad but not much…💐💐
I have seen it recommended for the Patrick Ta blushes to use the powder then the cream. to set it and melt it into the skin. This formula is the only ones I have seen recommended that way and Risa even made a correction on her video the other day because she did it backwards lol.
Green eyes are gorgeous and the tones of shadows you used really emphasise them - so beautiful 😍 💚 I don't have the DM Yummy Skin Blurring Powder but I'm thinking it could, perhaps, be a useful product to use with my more glowy foundations. As my skin is maturing, I'm veering away from shiny/glowy foundations as they emphasise my ever present crinkles. However, as I have dry skin I don't want to use a conventional powder - would the Yummy Skin be a better fit for me? Thank you ❤ Wishing you a blessed week, with lots of love 💕✨️💕✨️💕✨️💕✨️💕✨️💕✨️💕✨️💕✨️💕
I LOVE the Patrick Ta blush duos but it's still so confusing to me why the brand recommends using the powder before the cream! That goes against makeup 101!!
Aww, so we really did not get to see how the Hourglass Veil Skin Tint looks because you used another foundation on top 🫤. So is it extremely sheer, oily, longwear, good, bad????
I have seen other Patrick Ta blush tutorials and understand he recommends using the powder first and place the cream on top. Not sure why as it is counterintuitive. I think I would prefer it the way you applied the duo.
The cream is somewhat sheer when it applies due to the formula. It was intended to go over the powder.
I use it like Patrick recommends and I love it. Try it, it looks stunning 🤩
Hi Lisa - I love your videos but it would be great if you could be much closer to the camera. Especially when applying eye shadow. Thanks
Noted! I appreciate the feedback.

That's what I've heard about his cream/powder blush duos. Very interested in trying one. ☺🎨💖
Thank you for sharing! I will definitely give it a try 💖

That Mario palette is really worth having, when I need a shade to blend out with I use the Mario pallet. It’s totally a must have in my pallets.
This is a beautiful look on you! Could you please share an updated skincare routine? You always have the best recommendations. ❤
The perfect look! I can't wait to try to recreate this with my new BK Beauty brushes that I purchased for myself as a Happy Birthday to me!!
Yay! Happy Birthday! Thank you so much for your support. Have a lovely day 💖
Love watching a real makeup artist work

Beautiful look Lisa, love the eye look in this 😇😉and the lips.....
Glad you liked it! 💖
lisa- reverse the order of the blush. Powder first and then cream and you'll love the result.
Ooh thanks! I'll try that!

Thank you for sharing Aimee! I will give it a try 💖
The Patrick Ta blush you use the powder first, then the cream on top per his instructions.
Thank you for sharing! I will definitely give it a try 💖
Pretty Lisa!! Lisa Is the Mario eye primer better than Mac soft ochre?
So pretty Lisa!

Can you show more from Jane Iredale please? Maybe a full face? Your look today was beautiful.
Coming soon! 💖
Especially if you have colored eyes?
Green eyes are gorgeous and the tones of shadows you used really emphasise them - so beautiful 😍 💚

Hi Chrissy! The Yummy Skin would be very nice! It is going to give a very smooth, more natural matte finish. very blurring!
If it’s possible your makeup gets better every video. I guess I should try your brushes so I can experience the same❤
Aww you are so sweet!! Thank you!
I LOVE the Patrick Ta blush duos but it's still so confusing to me why the brand recommends using the powder before the cream! That goes against makeup 101!!
What is your necklace? I love it.
Thank you! It's by Dean Davidson... here is a link bit.ly/44gijoG
How does the hourglass tint compare to the jane iredale hydrapure?
It looks more glowy, the Hydrapure has more of a natural radiance (doesn't feel shiny) but this Hourglass feels more shiny.
😊😊😊😊💖💖💖
like orangy brown on you but with my darker hair and fair skin ,brown eyes dont think that would be my color ?????????????????????
Aww, so we really did not get to see how the Hourglass Veil Skin Tint looks because you used another foundation on top 🫤. So is it extremely sheer, oily, longwear, good, bad????
