- How does a 2022 game compare to older games? GT7 and PCARS 2 are both being played with full graphics settings on PS5.
The *Porsche 911 (GT3) was used in this comparison to ensure accurate similarities with livery, reflections and physics detail.

• Both GT7 and PCARS 2 run at 4k 30fps (GT7 60 - 120fps). However, this video is limited to 1080p 30fps.
*The Porsche 911 GT3 R is actually the Porsche 911 GT3 RSR in GT7. In PCARS 2, the RSR is part of a DLC pack but this was not realised at the time of recording. In this case, the Porsche 911 GT3 R was used in PCARS 2.

The feeling of speed in gt7 is just not there. We need a new project cars that follows where project cars 2 left off. Not the crap that is project cars 3, but back to what they started to do good which was a fun, realistic game.
Project cars 2 was so damn good. I play it still because of the Indy cars
I hope Project Cars 4 is that game, if it gets made. It seemed like it was being hinted at by Ian Bell and SMS.
@@whatDflip Is there gonna be a PC4? The reason I didn't get PC3 was all the negative reviews which was super disappointing because PC2 is a fantastic game. EDIT Nevermind...looks like EA pulled the plug on the series..such a shame
Hi ,i have same opinion Project Cars 2 was master piece need note game like this not only Gt3 like ACC ,and somethin like Le mans Ultimate port on console.

The sounds of PC2 is unmatched... It actually sounds like you're in the vehicle...

@@LanceB86 yeah there is a learning curve, although there are some accessbility options you can use to help you. but what i was trying to say is that the sounds in ACC runs circles around project cars 2, they are easily the best in the industry. i wish polyphony got the people who worked in the sound dept. in ACC for gt7.
Personally PC2 just feels more realistic visually to me compared to ACC. If PC2 had ACC’s physics system that would be the perfect game. ACC has a way more predictable traction system than any other driving game I’ve played. In PC2 some cars are basically uncontrollable and even the ones that feel good enough don’t give you any warning before they cut traction all together. When I make a mistake in ACC it feels like my fault but in PC2 more often then not I find myself blaming the car. In my opinion my favorite cars to drive in PC2 are the old school f1 cars with or without the front or back wings. Not only is it visually stunning to drive them but they handle way better than some of the other cars. I don’t own a PS5 so I haven’t gotten to play GT7 yet but from what I’ve heard and seen It doesn’t seem like an overly impressive game.
@@Hippoman55 you just need to set the Tone setting in PC2 FFB correctly and then it feels similar to ACC if not better. Default setting is more for ease of drive. Try Tone=14 and give it a go. It will amaze you.

Rain in PC2, AMS2, and ACC still have the best rain effects. PC2 has the better sounds, but I think overall graphics I give to GT7. Lighting is definitely a lot better in GT7.
@B You should be able to switch to the resolution video mode and that should clear up any graininess you are seeing. It really sucks they didn’t update PC2 for the next gen consoles so we are stuck before the era of the 4K standard.
@@Bpm121you’re playing project cars 2 on a console, that’s the problem. Looks like shit on ps4 and doesn’t get no ps5 upgrade. Project cars 2 maxed out on pc is a whole other ball game.

I'm loving project cars 2 with a controller after some tweakings in the settings is great, I'm playing on ps4
on PS5 i still prefer PCars2 for singleplayer. GT7 got better graphics, but a very boring AI, and not really the feeling of motorpsport with qualy sessions, fighting for podiums etc.
I saw a video that PC2 has graphics glitches, lightning problems on ps5. Did they release patch?
Nope, still no patch.
And unfortunately PC2 has been taken off store, making it very unlikely to be patched ☹️

There are no glitches whatsoever, I've clocked 629 hours on PS4 and 411 on PS5, no graphic glitches to be seen.

Most of racing cars is sound. If it’s off and unrealistic, it doesn’t matter what the leaves look like.
If I'm honest I have to stick with pjc2 I like gt7 aswel it's a shame pjc has been shut down they were definitely one of the best racing Sims out there

I like the rain and the sound effects on PC2. But tracks, car models, lighting, reflections... Much better on GT7.
Tracks on GT7 are awful, so is wheel feel. Probably the worst of any racing game I’ve played as of recent. Reflections on GT7 are also dog shit, I noticed all these things as I play the game on a 3m 4k projector screen, so when I see some low res, stuttery car in my rear view mirror, I really notice it. GT7 is a complete and utter disappointment in every way. Graphically it’s obviously more advanced, wouldn’t say it looks much better overall than PC2 maxed out on pc though.
Projects cars 2 looks very detailed and is full of fx but the tracks look very flat and theres no reflections really.
Gt7 is clear, very smooth, shiny and the cars look great, but the sense of speed and the special effects arent there...
GT7 is just horribly clinical, and ffb through the wheel is his awful. Like you’re driving on polished marble.
It would have been nice if pc2 has active modders
This video is the proof that you can buy new car racing game in interval of every 5years because progress of gameplay and graphism in this intervall is not huge.
And secondly find the good serie of game. Once you feel good in project car serie (a perfect 50%/50% balance between arcade and simulation)... don't buy a game from Gran Turismo serie which is more 75% arcade/ 25% simulation.
And people try to make out GT7 was “groundbreaking” 😂😂

@@dansimrgcompare2780 if you played both on my sim setup you’d have as much evidence as you needed. GT7 is clinical and boring. When it comes down to racing, project cars 2 is far more realistic and enjoyable. The feeling of speed is better, the cars sound better and the FFB through the wheel is wayyyy better. Not as good as assetto corsa but still leagues ahead of GT7 which has no detail at all, only wheel weight. GT7 is a horrible disappointment, I really hoped they’d produce a good game with GT7, but it’s not a good game. It disappointed in practically every way except graphics.

Not even close.PC 2 blows away GT7. By the way I got a pc new in 17 with a Vive and had no upgrades since and in VR project cars 2 is so much better than GT7. Graphics sound and configurations are plentiful and no micro transactions or any of that.GT7 is a decent arcade racer though more for just car lovers.I’m comparing these using psvr2 also vs 2017 htc Vive.

Who cares about grafics? For a true gamer it's all about gameplay gameplay gameplay. GT7 is easy to pick up but not very immersive. PC2 has the realism and immersion but is hard to learn to set up cars tires ect. GT7 noobs. PC2 pros

@@olavofernandes7286the fact that it’s project cars 2 ps4 against gt7 on ps5 is embarrassing mate. It got no upgrade for the ps5 so it’s a ps4 game, made 5 years before GT7 and GT7 looks barely any better, and in some ways worse. Stick project cars 2 maxed out on pc, and it looks the nuts.

Driving physics is a step backwards from GT sport, rain looks like ps2, trees, vegetation the same, car sounds sometimes seem very cardboard, not to mention the current micropayments. gt7 is a weak dlc for a sport that introduces campaigns and worse driving physics
@@radziuuuu1448 not true. Gt7 feels pretty realistic when driving, the pro drivers have even confirmed this and they even pick that game as a go to when they need to practice. Also the campaigns from Gran Turismos are way more entertaining than Project Cars games
