  • In this video, I will explain the bones and cartilages that form the nasal cavities, and then I will and walk you through the air pathways: nasal cavities, nasopharynx, oropharynx, laryngopharynx, larynx, trachea, primary bronchi, secondary bronchi, tertiary bronchi, bronchioles, terminal bronchioles, respiratory bronchioles, and pulmonary alveoli. In each of these pathways, I will explain some major anatomical structures such as nostrils, nasal vestibules, choanae, nasal conchae (superior, middle, inferior), nasal meatuses (superior, middle, inferior), paranasal sinuses (frontal, ethmoidal, sphenoidal, maxillary), olfactory epithelium, goblet cells, mucus, nasolacrimal ducts, hard palate, soft palate, opening to the auditory tube, pharyngeal tonsil, palatine tonsils, lingual tonsils, epiglottis, thyroid cartilage/Adam's apple, cricoid cartilage, tracheal cartilages, carina, pulmonary arterioles, pulmonary capillaries, pulmonary venules.
