Not to mention a monster like that needs a decent gym and food to stay in shape, its not like he was seeking a hotel for a stocked mini fridge of booze and room service. it honestly amazes me how some wrestlers looked as good as they did spending all that time on the road in tiny box cars eating at Dennys and Waffle House.
Or he could’ve sacrificed for the six weeks, openly embraced it, and with that attitude been crowned the top guy. It’s not absurd to recognize that the company was disillusioned that they’re putting the house behind a guy and he’s not embracing it or happy knowing what’s to follow a time period that’s less than ideal. Ask the rest of the roster if they’d have spent six weeks doing this if it meant they’d be champion at the end and I bet they’d have openly embraced it to get that level. Obviously you’d prefer a hotel but it’s a small sacrifice to become the champion in the end.
