I met him on the full metal tour in Hull UK in 94. I’ve heard all the bad stories but he was very gracious and happy to autograph and take pics with the fans. Seems an even nicer guy today.
The last time I saw him on tna he looked like he was dying literally . Im so happy to see Lex healthy again .

man ... heel v. heel for one hour takes some special talent. Flair was amazing. Lex was no technical marvel by any means, but he was at least good enough to be carried for an hour in a heel v. heel match. That's intense.
I'll never forget holding my hand out along with a bunch of others as Lex walked back to the locker room after he won his match and he looked at me and gave me a hi five. His hand swallowed mine. He was not the greatest wrestler, but he crowds always loved him. #NWA
That's another reason I respect Sting more n more because Lex have always said it was Sting who stood by him through thick n thin till today.
Both are great men. Legends.
My Fav memory of Lex was when he body slammed Yokozuna at the USS Intrepid. 💪🏼

Was never my cup of tea as a wrestler when I was younger but can certainly appreciate Lex the man, now.

He definitely deserves it. I don't know why he catches so much heat. He was one of my favorites as a kid and imo, the best U.S. champion they ever had besides Magnum.

That was WCW's biggest moment. Only thing comparable was when Goldberg beat Hogan for the title.
Facts. And then they made him drop the title 2 Hogan I think at the very next paperview (within 2 weeks).. That's why they lost their fan base. They were being run by Hogan's entourage behind the scenes...

Lex is so humble these days! Its great to hear from him! He wasnt a great wrestler but was willing to learn the business & is always talking great about wrestlers & wrestling in general! My respects to the total package lex luger
I remember Lex Luger in the UTC Arena in Chattanooga in the Round House when WCW had a show. He slapped my hand on the way to the ring to wrestle. Time can change a person and I really hope God continues to bless him.

I met in Lex back in 2006 at wrestling event in South Carolina. I spoke to him about fitness and gave me some exercising tips on how to build my biceps and triceps. I use that workout plan until this day!.....Thanks Lex

Always loved Lex when I was a teen. I feel for him, but he does appear a little healthy/stable than he did about a year ago. I'm happy for that.

It's nice to see one wrestler not try to tear another down like they so often do.
That was fun in the '80s I was a teenager when wrestling really started getting popular and the cartoons were fading out they used to be on till 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays and they started being over by 11:30 in the morning and wrestling would be on for hours an you see Ric flair yelling and screaming like what the heck. Saturdays was wrestling soap operas after cartoons.

I always remembered Lex for his exaggeration of hollering no matter if he making out like he's in pain or he's inflicting pain,it would sound the same either way.
I also remember him being buffed and ripped and now he looks frail and its so sad.

Many comments on here are saying Lex looks bad,The guy is not young any more i believe he is in his 60s,For me all that he has went through,he looks pretty good,Most would not even live through what he has went through and many are dead today who have went through less in the wrestling world.Despite all of his challenges,legal troubles,drugs,Motorcycle accident,Women/Marriage problems,Health Issues,having been through all of that in his past,And I am sure many could add even more in all he has went through in his making bad choices in life in the past,..I think he looks great for a person who has made it through all of that and is still alive when many wrestlers didn't make it.He has a great attitude and is very humble and very positive person, looks very happy and that he has peace in life.That's what matters.
