its true for the most part, but he's been rapping for a few years now. nowadays you can literally learn how to rap off from observing and RUclips videos.
Writing songs really isn't that hard it you know the language well... Freestyling is a different story and takes real practice but knowing how to make similes and alliteration will get you far rapping.
