We get both of those in the UK, the ordinary one at least is also brewed here under licence. These days it's owned by Asahi Breweries who don't seem to be too bad when it comes to closing breweries? A bit late unfortunately as AB InBev destroyed it here before. Something of interest, Aldi sell their own clones of both of those here, though who brews them this week, nobody knows???
Aldi sell the standard clone for £1.49 ($2.93 Aus). It is surprisingly still 5% ABV and also in 500ml bottles.
Wow, great information about Aldi. I read a couple of articles and opinion seems somewhat divided, with some claiming that both beers are uncannily similar while others state that there are marked differences. Still, as with most things at Aldi, you can’t argue with the price. Cheers!
Not an ideal bottle to stand around at a BBQ or somewhere with.
It doesn’t even fit into a stubby cooler!
