Yeah, that's kinda the thing with "world records" of this type. There is no formal competition so it's usually just a random person who became pretty good at a very specific challenge. No way of knowing they're actually the best, it's just that no one else has tried.
As another example, the world record distance for walking on Legos barefoot for a while was like 70 feet. There are people who run literally 100+ miles barefoot, I'm certain they could smash that if they tried. The current record is 3.8 km which is much more reasonable, but still I bet it could be much higher if someone trained it for a long time.

Hi Magnus, I'm not sure how strict the no hands pull up has to be (I follow both Brandon and Browney and they seemed to have good form), but for the L-sit the rule is that your legs stay parallel or slightly above, so when they drop below that and you can't readjust it doesn't count anymore. Additionally, you're technically supposed to keep your torso more upright and your hips a bit more forward. So in your attempts, specifically, since your knees are bent it's harder to tell how high your legs are, but it looked like you were too low and too hunched forward starting from 30 or 40s, honestly. Pete was good all the way through, although he needs to be careful to not brush against the bar.

Hey Magnus, have you ever seen or tried a hang-bar challenge at the carnival. I’ve seen them before, but hadn’t tried one until today. The bar rotates. I also heard that it has a slow motor that causes you to lose your grip without you realizing the bar is moving (not sure if that’s true or not). I tried one hand with a pull-up grip and the other with a chin up grip and made it to 1:30. I was trying to reach 2:15 to win $200. I didn’t see anybody else do 1:30, so I was pretty proud of my time. Perhaps if I trained for it I could do better. I also currently weigh about 200 lbs and 6 feet tall. A couple years ago I was 170 lbs, if I weighed a little less, that would also help.

    Video idea:
The new Munch museum in Oslo has a type of cloak with waves which are very slopey, but might just be climbable (one can get a feel for it at one of the corners where the cloak goes all the way down to the ground). The tallest, straightest side of the building is hanging directly over water. You see where this is going :)
(Please check the depth and might be difficult to get permission).

Try turning your hands the other way round on the bar when L sitting. The inside of the elbows facing outwards means your arms lockout better
