Matt, I currently live in Southern California but grew up racing in Minnesota. Millville is one of my favorite tracks. I rode the 88 milleville national on my KX 125. It was 98 degrees with 90% humidity. I thought I was going to pass out during the race. I got lapped twice by Donny Schmit . I was a back marker but it was an experience I will never forget. I wish you the best of luck😊.
Absolutely RIPPIN them starts, I know racing smokers against them 4 strokes isn't easy, but starts like those definitely make it easier. And sand definitely isn't the easiest to race in, I grew up on sand and sometimes I have issues too. Lookin forward to Millville and definitely the rest of the year. No choice. No ragrets, not even a letter

When I was 15 (1982)I had pneumonia which just lingered all year…I tried to just ride through it and used to go until I got into a coughing fit and puked inside my helmet…no fun. Thanks for sharing your experience, warts and all👍. Don’t compare yourself to Jett, the kid is an alien…and he rides for factory Honda on a bike with twice the torque. He shows up to the races with his equipment in a semi truck, tended to by a staff of people. You’re riding a stock 250 two stroke out of your beat pick up truck, against open class factory bikes. You’re an absolute ANIMAL!

I had a 4 stroke last fall and really didn’t like it, I think I would be worse if I showed up on one! I just love the 2 stroke it’s what I’m comfy on
