my dad had a really cool cable oiler system you may try one if you can find one, we had carb cables hang up some times. looking forward to seeing you kick some 4 stroke at the wick.
YO MATTY B!!!!!! Check the gap clearance at the top of your piston. I found out the hard way that I didn't have enough base gaskets for my cylinder, and it did the exact same thing that yours did when you had to leave the track. 2/3 throttle and pinging like crazy. Just an idea for you!
I saw the beginning of a video of the legends. I actually placed better than Todd Dehoop at the fall classic of 2000. 19th out of 40 on a 1997 CR500 in 250 pro am. 341 before the last guy. Niko Izzy.
Are you running MRX-02 or T2? She sounds really lean mid-throttle and if you’re running oxygenated fuel I might recommend fattening up the air screw a bit to keep her from doing that “hot plug” overrev thing that took you out of Moto 2. I had the same problem on my YZ250 a few years back.

Ya I like his content but I have to agree. Those 450s just pull him on the start and he's always gonna be in the back off the start. I don't see him in the top 25 or even top 30 while he's on a stroke. He has to race a 450 if he wants better results. That's when people think it's purely a publicity stunt and gaining followers when you're on the 2 stroke
The 2 smoke has let me down the last 2 rounds but I like it way better than a 450. Had a 450 last fall and didn’t like it at all, I really don’t think I would do any better but we will probably never find out 😂
The twostroke is what makes him special and what he obviously loves. Even if he would switch to a fourstroke he probably would never score points (that's not a shame, i wouldn't either), so why should he quit doing what he loves to ride something that he doesn't like? I think he has set his priorities exactly the way it should be. As long as you're not a high paid pro racer (or want to become one), having fun should always be your top priority.
Hey buddy he’s a privateer trying to do well and be different. A bit of a old school soul which I really like nothing better then being at the races in the 90’s when 40 2 strokes left the gate or went up a steep hill and the smell brings back so many memories of my younger years. Really if we want to complain we should all be mad at the AMA and the promoters for not allowing a 250cc in the 250 class it’s really a joke
I’ve been yanking the jumps and just getting pulled anyways so what am I really missing…practicing starts won’t magically gain me 200cc’s unfortunately 😂😂

The four stroke has divided this sport. If you love the four stroke you are not helping motocross. Try and rebuild the two bikes.
