While putting off fire is there a diff. in the duration of pressurised discharge (in a Non-CO2 Extinguisher) depending on how I've pressed the Handle?
To be more specific, what if I press it for 1 Second only and then again repeat the same? And what if I keep the Handle pressed for several seconds?
Will there be any diff. in the duration of pressurised discharge? In the first instance, will there be little or NO Pressure when I press for the 2nd and 3rd time?

The emptying time of a fire extinguisher depends on its capacity. For example, the time of a fire extinguisher is thirty seconds. If you press it once, it will empty in thirty seconds and the best way is to use full pressure and material together comes out, If you push again and again, the time of the fire extinguisher will remain the same, but there is a lot of difference in the work efficiency.

@@hsetrainer1593 , whether 30 seconds or not depends on Capacity of the Extinguisher. A 1 Kg cannot release material for 30 seconds.
I suggest that you Reread my previous Post and reply properly.

Is there a possibility of a person fainting while discharging COs , esp. in a closed environment? If yes, please suggest safety tips.

Exposure to Carbon Dioxide in confined space can cause headache, dizziness, difficulty breathing and tremors. Higher exposure can cause convulsions, coma and death. changes and loss of vision.
First of all there install automatic co2 releaser there is electrical setup in confined place (room) when happend fire release automatic co2 must go to outside from the room…
Second scenario use self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA)
