I got chills when they played Acknowledge. I've seen Ace three times. The first time was forever ago at the Comfort Zone in Toronto. Tickets were $15 and I will never forget it. Ace came fully decked in Atlanta Hawks gear, ready to get his sweat on. The place was tiny and people were going berserk. It got so crazy dudes were sitting on other dudes shoulders, holding on to the pipes running across the ceiling, all so they could get closer to Ace. Multiple times the whole crowd would just start yelling "ACE ACE ACE ACE ACE..." over and over. Even Ace was like "you guys are crazy." And when he played Acknowledge, it went nuts. I had the pleasure of sharing a drink with Ace a few times and he's as expected, a true gentleman.
Been a fan since he was "Master" Ace with the Juice Crew. This was a breath of fresh air. Loved the environment and the mellow live orchestral versions. Bravo

Masta Ace is so dope an underrated. The chorus on "Mr bus driver" is sometimeS out of tone but no matter. Great to hear those classics with this classical background and master ace make it his own way because the attitude is still simple : he do not try to make it more serious and grandiloquent because h'es surrounded by this great musicians. The way the tracks are reworked and interpreted is dope... Peace from France...
shoutout to master for giving love to his wife for pickin out his clothes. that moment right there humanized the hero from seconds before in an unscripted act of gratitude. beautiful. live muisic will always be so so important for those moments between songs when we get to really see the artists we look up to. big up to everyone involved with this project, this is true entertainment. bravo, and carry on by all means.
