Thank you for running 175* F coolant temp. Most dynos run cold coolant Temps and it's not realistic imho.
That was an awesome tuning process. Very specific changes and only where needed. It takes discipline to go back to low timing on the second intake instead of just trying to pick up where the other left off. That’s quality work.
That's how ya do a proper dyno video👏
Nice to see back to back testing. Not my favorite style of intake but it’s nice to see the differences of runner length and plenum volume and it’s effect on the power curve.
You are living the dream. Excellent work as usual!
Love the throttle response of high compression engines.
Very nice build! Love the step up progress on the dyno testing. Keep up the good work.
I just love this channel
Super informative
Keep it up brother ↖️❤️
I need that engine in my life!!
I appreciate the fact that your water temperatures are not 115-130 degrees like most dyno runs.
If I was gonna have an LS motor built, it would definitely be this guy.
For a mild valve train 441 LS not bad. Would be under 700 with water pump and accessories hooked up. Solid motor for sure. Should be rock solid reliable
Yeah in a auto c6 proably looking at 630 wheel hp and 6 speed proably 650 hp not bad at all nice build. But my 434 makes way more power solid roller single plane intake and 13.8 compression going through a 6l80e 718 hp. But i tbet this 441 is way more friendlier on the street lol
Well on actual pump GAS it would be a lot less, but those liberty heads or whatever casting he slaps his name on is really killing this engine...some Frankenstein, ALL-Pro, Hoppers hell trick flow LS7 heads that have been touched by same mamo would make a lot more power..."his" heads are holding all these more radical strokers back....
Thank you for your knowledge 💪🏽
Nice job Jacob! Definetlety wanting one also.....
I need to send you mine for tuning dam good job bro
LOL, 1.118 correction factor. Talk about a happy dyno. Must be running that engine in Denver!
That is the SAE atmospheric correction factor.
I know exactly what it is, and how the dyno uses it to correct the raw torque value. It's also STP Correction, not SAE which is typically softer by about 3-5% because it's corrected to different weather standards. That's why I'm laughing. Would love to see the raw values or bsfc but it appears you don't have a flow meter.
He lost me when he called e85 pump gas, and no it's not remotely available everywhere not even close AND going backwards, then that oil pressure is falling about when the power does interesting....
I mean putting your name on a liberty casting ( or whatever Chinese crap it is ) and calling it your head is cringe...
Hell an LS3 over a real CID, Frankenstein, Hooper or BR7 273 Ls7 head on this engine is cringe....a trick flow LS7 touched just a hair would best em and have a warranty hehe..probably cheaper too...
Love the videos!
Can you cover rod to stroke ratios? Such as how they effect piston dwell time, why it matters and the lowest ratio you would consider reliable.
Ooo that video would make a lot of people upset!
Well fell off by the throttle body and then roll down to the floor with during the last full before you overlaid the 24 to the 22° timing difference
It was one of the bolts holding the throttle linkage assembly, good eyes!
@@JacobVillemain I was wondering what if that went into the TB! It was right next to it. Oof!
Throttle plate bolt !!!! OMG
Amazing work bro!
How much gonna cost me like this long block?
Nice work. But @ 7:04 you Almost had a lose bolt get sucked into the throttle body!! That would have destroyed that motor!!! Soo close!! 👍🏼
What did that engine cost? I love it!!!
Great work! I have one question. What is the cam lift and duration for this build?
Awsome build, but what is the water pump from a truck with viscous fan?
EMM WHAT ARE THE CAM/ROCKER SPECS?
Seems kinds low for 441 cubic inches. What are cam specs?
Heads holding it back
What brand of egt sensors are you using?
Could this engine run okay on 93? Or is E85 a must?
This engine has 13.2:1 compression ratio and requires E85. The most compression I recommend running with 93 octane gasoline is 11.5:1.
@@JacobVillemain thank you and great question.
No this is a full race engine ( as e85 isn't available remotely everywhere nor considered pump gas) this was desperation to finally reach 700hp because his heads hold his short blocks back!!
@JacobVillemain but that's static, what about dynamic? Then what would you run with pump on dynamic?
First 👍's up thank you for sharing
Not one person has asked what fell off the engine during the intake #1 dyno runs.
Only 700hp from a 441 with 13 to1 compression???
A bolt fell off during the dyno going from 22° to 24° timing.
It was one of the bolts holding the throttle linkage assembly, good eyes!
@@JacobVillemain oh, wow, at least it wouldn't have been anything too bad, would have sucked at the engine had pulled it in through the throttle body👀
How much for that same setup?
I'm glad you like it y have a price?
Never heard a dyno step up in function like that. not linear at all as you could hear distinct rpm changes as if someone flipping switch
What make are the intakes
So gas ported pistons huh? E85 should keep those clean but if you switch it over to gasoline they could get plugged up with carbon. I’d look into Total Seal’s gas ported piston rings!
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Why you call it a Hoonigan?
This engine was built for one of the employees that runs The Hoonigan media company.
Ok cool
I cringe everytime I see the sheet metal intakes manifold
Why? They are great, and they weigh less than those big bulky cast aluminum ones, and definitely cost a whole lot less.
@@sethh8892because there not that good...MSD or Fast have proper velocity stacks for each intake runner.
Agree..FAST OR MSD are the answer...plus who wants heat soak.
The heads are LS3 and MSD doesn’t make an intake for them. FAST long runner would have more toque than the sheet metal type manifolds.
Yeah I should have done something different
I was seriously expecting much more hp on that build. High CR on e85??? Jus sayin cause stock, worn out Zo6's are making 650rwhp with just a heads and cam with stock 11:1 CR. I will be ordering a short block from them though. Their shortblock builds are meticulous and spot on. At least on his vids.
what people say they make vs reality is generally a totally different story ... the dyno shops job is to make it say what you want and how they have the best tune in town
@@vansohren9048 raceproven motorsports doing it every day and I, myself have done a few 427s that made over 650rw with mild builds. Even Steve Balusik at Cam Motion made 700 fw with a 402 for a street motor.
I agree. I thought it was going to make more power. Race proven got my car to over 750 crank on heads and cam with bolt ons
And I'm on 93 octane not E
mf’s don’t understand how intake manifolds affect powerbands or listen when he explains in the video he’s focusing more on overall average torque than peak hp….but that’s over yalls heads
Pump gas...🤭
Would be nice if companies would advertise prices of builds to give us an idea. Instead of this "call for price" garbage
