Chase Daniel is going to be a star as an analyst!

Seemed to me all he did was repeat everything that has already been said by all the typical talking heads. Caleb didn't have weapons to throw to last year at USC, Jayden could get hurt if he is running too much, Drake Maye wasn't surrounded by any talent, etc. I'd rather hear him break down some film and give his QB knowledge on whats going on good and bad.

Chase Daniels - pulled more paychecks as a backup QB than anyone - 13 year backup

Chase Daniel- All QBs are either great or not put in the right position to succeed. All former QBs who are coaches are brilliant.
Carrying water did Chase better as a player than as an analyst.

Who cares? 3rd down at Michigan is not the same as 3rd down in the NFL
That guy had a top 5 Oline & running game, he's asked to manage 3rd and 5 or less the majority of the time

@runnin3216 do you know? Lol go check for yourself if you can find that. I'm not even defending Mccarthy necessarily. I just found it strange how he mentioned 3rd down when that was actually one of the few things he was good at.

Love the Penix move bc so many people hate it, so you know its going to work.
People are tripping about the money but thats what QBs make.
Cowboys have a 35 million cap hit next season and Dak is not even under contract. D.Jones had a 47 million cap hit... thats half of what Kirk got in guaranteed money.
I can see Penix coming in when Kirk has an off night in a Prime Time game and winning it....
    They will freak!

Bears are definitely improved. I've pulled for Fields, but he's held onto the ball too long since Ohio State. That's likely to continue with the Steelers in a system not looking to be high scoring.

Nostradamus has spoken. Lol give me a break, there is no way to tell they're going to regret it. Especially in this day and age with QB's. Teams will move on after 2-3 years and not even care. If you have any clue then you realize a guy like Caleb is exactly who you take a chance on.

Sounds like Cousins planned on retiring in Atlanta. Not so fast. Pennix not running is not a bad thing? I want a guy with an injury history to protect himself. QB is the only position in football you can do that. No team trading up, MN only one spot, was smart drafting.

Kirk's RAS was pretty much the worst of all the QBs drafted his year. JJ is much more athletically gifted by comparison, which doesn't limit him to a "only Kirk Cousins level" of potential. The Cousins to McCarthy comparisons are ridiculous they're so inaccurate. Jeez, let the kid play in the NFL before judging him.

Yeah, and the Lions. Vikings aren't going to be a pushover. Brian Flores always builds an excellent defense which is in the third year (I think). Caleb Williams will join the pantheon of USC QBs that flamed out by Year 3.

@@domdela5217 Caleb is from DC, played in Oklahoma, but because he followed his coach to USC for 2 years people act like he's just some soft warm weather Cali kid like Matt Leinart hahaha man some people are so clueless with some of the stuff they go around posting
also yeah this is some sweet talk about how the NFC North looks next season.....how about for the next 10-20 years? because THAT'S what drafting a Franchise QB is about, the success or failure of that isn't determined based on if they beat all their division rivals in year one

Just stop pretending like Caleb can read the field. He can’t. The ONLY person who EVER brings up how disastrously he played vs ND is Dan Orlovsky and that is BECAUSE THE IRISH RAN A PRO SCHEME-but without pro talents-and he lost that game by 24 points.
He never played a pro-style defense again and STILL LOST 4 OUT OF THE LAST FIVE GAMES. Caleb is weak mentally and when things break down he’s going to be in serious trouble bc NFL defenders are ALLLLLLLLL as fast or faster than he is. The days of the fat slow but dominant defenders is no longer available to him.
Stop focusing on his 2022 tape bc he REGRESSED in 2023 and PLEASE stop making excuses for USC. They were more talented than every single team on their schedule except Washington.
