Shurink is a procedure done by a non-invasive ultrasound device. It lifts and tightens the face for a youthful complexion and tightens the body for slimmer contours. With precision per shot pulse, HIFU-powered transducers are designed to stimulate collagen. How long till you can see results?
The time taken for the effects to show varies depending on for what purpose Shurink was performed. Treatment effects are relatively quick to show when it was treated in the superficial dermis layer (closer to the skin surface) for improving skin texture. However, when used for reducing wrinkles (thus used to target more deep), the effects will show after 4 weeks or more after the collagen production has gone into effect.
How many shots of Shurink does someone need?
In general, 300 shots are the average for face lifting, and 400 shots for face-to-neck combination. But the number of shots may increase depending on the overall size of the face, the sagging degree & elasticity of skin. It is recommend you to have a consultation with a doctor first, and make a decision on the procedure after the consultation.
Lip Filler aftercare:
* Apply ice to treated area
* Stay hydrated - drink plenty of water
* Focus on eating healthy foods like fresh fruits & vegetables. The vitamins and minerals will assist with the healing process
* Avoid strenuous exercise and extreme hot temperatures for 24-48 hours post treatment
Avoid
* Processed foods or fast foods
* Heavy activity or exercise for the first two days after treatment
* Excess salt - it makes you dehydrated and bloated!
* Spicy foods
* Blood-thinning medications, including aspirin and ibuprofen (unless prescribed by your medical practitioner then please continue with these)
* Smoking and smoke exposure

Hi can it be used on nasolabial folds (caused by volume loss in upper cheeks)? Also what if we don't have a plumped face like hers but more like thinned skin and laxity, can hifu thinned up the skin even more? I heard HIFU lifting works better if you are younger and in your 20’s! How many shots do you need for full face and neck?
It actually has a more dramatic effect when the case is more severe (usually when you are older). However, by then, other options such as combining it with a threadlift or doing full SMAS facelift are better options. This is a good way of preventing the onset of aging as well as it keeps your face tighter for longer. The amount of shots you need varies from machine to machine but the best advice is to always do the full course. Current Shurink machines (new models) usually go to 400 shots. Try to do the full amount for best results. You will find that many clinics have them in 100 shot parts. Don't do those. 100 shots won't do much. You will need the full course.
