Have the rigid done was think about doing the artic lessons whats the main difference im only doing it for the licence i wont be driving as a professional on the road if i pass just love trucks 👍
@@gerardkinsella6034 the main difference would be the artic truck bends in the middle and you have to turn the steering wheel the wrong way going backwards 🤣🤣 Ah no in all fairness there just longer in length and more then likely heavier depending on what you are loading. Other than that possible a bigger cab and engine depending on what truck you are in. Far play if you get the license just to have it. You'll nearly always get work with it.
Why take the test then bit pointless if you don't think you good enough ?? Does vosa not pull you boys for not running with bumpers not pulled out they would nailyou to the door over here pulled containers for reebok over to Dublin Airport in the past blah those v8s are noisy
@@burgerman3 a mate works on tippers here .Woodhouse transport the boss sent all the new trucks back to Mercedes and had the cameras off and mirrors .fitted .drivers complained about lack of vision due to the lime dust going hard on the cameras and when tried to clean off it was damaging the camera lenses. So much for tech .mirrors have been around a long time .personally I think the cabs look awful without mirrors .like a pit bull with cropped ears . Drive steady pal bit frosty on heysham _3 today no snow
@@stephenleslie2037 you do a lot of communicating through the mirror. You see the motorist and the motorists sees you. Likewise in the quarry or any yard you are reversing in. You see the forklift driver and he can see you in your mirror. You'd also wonder in general how much fuel do you actually save with aerodynamics. Maybe on a steady 4 and a half hour drive doing the 90k's all the time but not stop starting up and down in traffic would it do much. Yeah it tried to snow here last night in Dublin but it didn't stick.
Wheres the subtitles gone .?? Love the irish twang but sometimes a tad hard to catch the words without the captions .see you have the dopey arsed drivers who swing the door open and dont hive a shit 😢😮
Not sure what happened the captions. I will ask me young fella in the technical department and try get that sorted. I can't understand myself somedays 😂😂
