Getting STUCK in the elevator! Caught on Camera!

- Yep, I got stuck in an elevator, but not trapped, thankfully! There's something wrong with this elevator. There's 3 floors at this train station, and when you go straight from the bottom to the top, it stops at the middle floor (even if no one calls the elevator there), then stays for 5 seconds, and then goes again. Very weird!

Just because he did not get stuck and need to call assistance it still got stuck

just a warning when ever u r in a lift and ur door opens back when u shut it come out immediately bc i got caught and i didnt listen to sign im only 10 and i waas stuck then i came out but rememebr the signal that ur abt to get stuck even tho i pressed the bell no one heard including the intercom

That elevator door looks like hospital surgery doors. Am I the only one??
Eh I've seen these door types most commonly at transit centers.
It’s most a two speed door which is common. Most hospitals use this type of door too.

I called the number that I was stuck in the lift when I got back home. And they saved me. So scary 😨
It didn’t get suck it probably has a malfunction or maybe the stop button gets stuck in the same position

I’m proud you for remaining calm the way you did! I think many get a little too scared when stuck in elevators. I personally don’t think there’s too much to worry about when stuck in one, since you should be helped out in good time unless you’re stuck in one when a fire suddenly happens or on a ship that’s sinking.

How did you get stuck
Basically the elevator stopped at the ground floor but the doors didn’t open. Stayed for about 10 seconds then continued, so it technically got stuck

It’s a train but yes this route is the raritan valley line which starts in high bridge and ends in New York. This station is Westfield in nj

Yeah, if I had an elevator do something like that, I would have made some effort to look up the number for, idk whoever's responsible, and give them a call, in hopes that I might have prevented someone from getting actually stuck! :)
One time at my college, the elevator was making a scary metallic rattling noise. No clue what would cause that but I really thought it was going to get stuck, and started button mashing until it thankfully stopped "properly" and opened on the next floor. I got out and took the MPE the rest of the way down.... and called for maintenance to come check it out. I knew it couldn't fall, but it could get stuck between floors which can be scary as F*** for some people (and I wouldn't blame them)
