Dean Parks!!! a guitarist's guitarist... no wonder he was on every other Steely Dan tune :) Dean's discography is un - be - lievable. A true guitar god...
@@VertexEffectsInc Very true, I've heard his music plenty and revere the legend, seen a few interviews, but I believe this may be the first pedal endorsement I've seen, so congrats on that 👍🏼
I really like my Ernie ball volume pedal to push my signal to the amp a little harder . My problem is the pedal seems to be adding alot of noise . Will it clean up with pot cleaner or do most guys have the pedal modded ?????
Just wondered if Dean has done a solo album or any guitar instrumental stuff? Absolutely love his playing should be more famous like Mike Landau and Michael Thompson in the guitar world not just the studio scene even though he's a legend in that:)
@@VertexEffectsInc Will do thanks there's Allmusic.com but would take years to listen to all that! Mayby there's some band projects within all those credits hmmm :)
@@VertexEffectsInc Even with high quality parts the unit manufacturing cost shouldn't be more than $30. So for a normal person a price of about $75-$100 for a high quality booster should be "fair". Anything above that is ridiculous.
@@gab_ale I do tend to agree that this pedal is excessively high. But its alot more than the practicality of a pedal these days that affect the price. Its the brand, i.e. a boss pedal would be cheaper than say a jhs pedal because its jhs and also boss produces on a mass scale so economies and all that but vertex is boutique so price will be higher off the bat. But Im interested to know why this pedal is priced as it is.
It’s priced right. Quality boosts are in 125-150 range, but this one does expression control which can turn any passive volume pedal into an active one. That functionality more than justifies the extra 50-75 doll hairs. Also, you’re a fucking ass hat.
@@christianrae5179 People have grown accustomed to paying more for the brand name and marketing than for the product itself. What is so unique about a clean boost with input and output buffers and an expression pedal output that would merit a price tag of $200? What really makes some of these "Boutique" companies special? Low production? What about the quality or actual uniqueness of the design? Take the Morning Glory as another example. Just a slightly modified Blues Breaker circuit, also for $200. Nothing original at all. Many of these companies don't even have to spend much on R&D, since most of what they make is based on, or is a copy of something else. And I perfectly understand that not everyone knows about electronics or has the time to make their own pedals, but some of the prices out there are plain abusive.

Thank you , I'll try that product.
