Where did you get this ancient gaming machine lol? I thought they extinct already! Must be very expensive at the market right now? Look at those classic games. Sound effects are top notch. I always get mesmerized by the sound effects in retro games………
I love the Atari 2600+ Big Bill. I was in a local store and saw children having fun playing on the unit. That brings back fond memories of young ones enjoying the piece like back in the late 70's-early 80's Bill. 8^) Anthony..
I used to go to my friends up the street Stuart and Richard and play the games with them great memories that thankfully will be with me forever, thanks for watching Anthony
I'm glad it comes with a few of the games I had as a kid. I regret not having saved my cartridges, but who knew 2600 retro gaming would be a thing forty years later? I got the four game paddle pack too, as well as a used Kaboom! cartridge from eBay, and a new label for it. I never played Kaboom! as a kid, but it looked fun, and is surely is. It's a great system. It brings back a lot of childhood memories. That's odd about the joystick. Both the one that came with my 2600+ and the extra one I bought for it, which is identical, feel exactly like I remember, and they both work perfectly. They don't feel like those cheaply built, aftermarket junk like the Hyperkin Trooper. The paddles too. My only complaint with the joysticks is cord length. I wish they were about twice the length they are. Atari is coming out with a five foot extension cable, but still.
To be honest wireless joysticks would have been the thing to have but I suppose cost and all that, still a good system and easy to plu into the modern TV's thanks for watching
Hello mate I hope you’re doing great!! Awesome to see your latest, these vids are informative to me as I started gaming back on the PS1 haha these consoles are just so cool!!
Hello. Wow! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! The legendary American video game console is back! It's nice to be able to play on a real device rather than an emulator. Good that it is compatible with the latest interface. However, it is not sold in Japan. It's a shame. I envy you. :) Thank you for introducing me to the latest version of a nostalgic game console. Thank you my friend.
They've definitely put out a quality product At a good price point And I think it's fantastic For people who want to play 2600 games On a modern television As well as not wanting to miss about with ancient Hardware that's almost 50 years old, It's funny because I've seen quite a few tubers from the UK Picking this up And telling their stories about how they grow up with the original, I didn't know anyone as a kid who had an Atari And always assumed it was an American thing But it turns out quite a few people had them in the uk 😂 I'm all about the style just so I think it's great that people can go back And recapture those moments, Also I think a lot of us who are into retro gaming Or now at that point In our lives where we have a little bit of money in our pockets And can go back and experience systems we didn't own growing up, Myself I'm planning To get into a little bit of master system and Amiga As I've seen a lot of fantastic games through watching the tubes and would like to play them for myself at some point, Great video Bill , Enjoy your new toy
Thanks Marc been enjoying playing the old Atari games and to be honest majority of all the old consoles I own I never had as a kid and its been a lot of fun finding and chasing down games I have never played before and it's all new to me it dont matter too much on what system you get they all have some hidden gems and its great fun playing them for the first time Some of the Mastersystem titles play even better than the Mega Drive version so I do hope you manage to pick one up pal Thanks for watching
Hey, Bill. I'd heard about this. It's cool that you can play old Atari games on it. I'll definitely be picking one up. The console looks really good. What was your favourite Atari game? I'm thinking mine was pitfall or Phoenix.
You can also play 7800 games on this as well pal Pitfall 2 is the one they nailed it on that title but probably my all time favourite is HERO its a quality memory game and after probably level 10 starts to get seriously difficult Got mine from Amazon when they had a deal on but there also bringing out a 7800 joypad soon so a bit more of a console controller than a joystick Have fun pal
Pitfall was one of my favorites too. So much so that I just ordered it, and a replacement label, from eBay. Gotta build the collection again... forty years later. 😁
Your spot on and yet for some others shall I say younger gamers its a curiosity, great little system cannot wait to play some more quality titles🤣 Thanks for watching
It's a great device I think, and it's really opened up a massive rabbit hole for me personally Awesome that it plays 7800 games and great they are making new games for it, would be nice if that continues 👍
Awesome awesome sharing dear friend ❤️ Really enjoyed watching Super Big big like thumbs up 👍👍👍👍 See you again keep intouch ❤️ You know I already subscribed your with Bell 🔔🔔🔔🔔❤️❤️❤️❤️👍
I gog mine for Christmas and I still haven't taken it out of the box 😂 that second joystick really dies sound nice and clicky 🤔 The weird bird is supposed to be a dragon 😂 Combat has so much nostalgia for me 👍 Missile Command and Yar's Revenge are also both iconic. I really need to get mine out of the box 😂
As I'm fairly sure I've mentioned before, although I have no history with the atari I've considered getting one just because it's such a great looking console. Do I need one... no, do I want one... definitely 😂
Great for people who want to go back and have that nostalgia but ps2 is probably as far back as i go lol i just can't adjust from today's graphics to the older graphics that much 😂
