Do snap swivels cause your baits to swim wrong when trolling? I don't trill but I do fish a lot of heavy current and if tying straight to the bait and not using swivels could be a reason I'm not hooking up as much
Hey Clayton! I know livescope is better than mega live, but I’m going to purchase mega live in the coming weeks. Did the mega live ever get upgraded in terms of quality throughout the time you used it? I’m getting it expecting that overtime the quality and seperation will go up. Stoked for some new tech 😅
Sadly it has not... Last little bit Carter and I have been using both in my boat at the same time and it's not even comparable... Hopefully they get better over time. It's still better than nothing.

So how do you know what length of line you use to get the bait down? Are you using an app that tells you?

How do you not snag? Cranks dive to a specific depth and you just stay at a certain range above the bottom? Does length of line matter?

A crank bait snap will allow the bait to move the way it’s intended too
I would run my lure on a slightly shorter line. It would be the lure the fish see first and bite it before lure #2 even showed up.

Clayton, I think you proved that color isn't as big a factor in catching fish than most fishermen think.
Maybe in some fisheries, it absolutely makes a differ now where I live. Natural colors outfish bright colors 10:1 in my waters.
