It was so tense that it felt as if it was going on forever. Finally, the screen went black as if there was going to be a jump-scare but instead it was the sound of Nicolas Cage breathing heavily and doing these strange purring noises. Finally, Nicolas Cage can be seen entering the frame but the camera is only focused on his hair and shoulders. The trailer then ends.

I’m aware of people feeling that the modern trailer gives away the whole movie, but this barely suggested a movie at all. I’ll wait for it to come to streaming, assuming it can survive critic and audience reviews.

But I rewatched him in Mandy (talk about a hellish acid trip) His funny “psychotic” rants…I believe will be turned up a notch & actually work incredibly well for a terrifying killer I haven’t anticipated a damn film like this, I don’t think-ever. Been excited for them. Maybe The Dark Knight when I saw art work on Ledger in the closest- But…I’m already wishing this has been out

Just like in the Nutty Professor, Nic Cage is actually playing every role in this movie. You see him a lot throughout the trailer, you just can't always recognize him.

In oz perkins I trust! If they ever do drop a proper trailer I'm not even watching it, plus we haven't seen any glimpse of Nicolas Cage, and that has me super intrigued.

Caught a version of this half of the trailer in theaters in front of Civil War. Probably the most mystifying trailer I had ever seen in a long time. It's got me excited for this movie.
The marketing team of NEON has cracked the code and changed the game. I have never wanted to see a move so badly ever. This is the type of suspense and nerve wrecking anxiety that I want for a horror movie.
I don’t know if this makes sense but It’s like Nicholas Cage is a superpower that Nicholas Cage is trying to harness but just can’t seem to get there. It’s like that massive uncomfortable bubble of gas that you are trying to get out in one huge record breaking magical fart, but instead it just comes out in many tiny little squeakers that are making no difference to your discomfort. I love him and hope this one does it for him.
