Happy Birthday, JJ. I turned 36 on Thanksgiving. Code: Veronica takes place in December of 1998, therefore a CV Remake SHOULD have a Christmas theme to it. Christmas décor on the island in the palace and and a dead icy cold Antarctic facility...or at least have Christmas Mode be optional, either way is good. All the best and classic RE games take place in the same year, 1998. It just seems the franchise beyond that year has struggled maintaining that core. Heck, the Remake games can't completely get the perfect 1998 as they have 2000s cars and stuff that shouldn't belong. As for Steve being annoying, that's just until he kills his zombie dad. Then he becomes a better character. Also, you CAN close the shutter so they DON'T come through the windows if you plan a head and place a metal object, like a 1st Aid Spray, into the metallic box and if you step through with the Spray before using the machine upon your return they can't smash through.
