Thanks for this video Rich. I just picked up those new batteries and have been waiting for a calmer day for the maiden. It's good to see you flying in crazy winds. Love your videos, very informative

Definitely seems to fly a bit more rock solid with the heavier packs in it. Not sure if you caught my video of stinger 90 on 8s with JP fan. Unreal how fast, yet stable that bad boy flys. Great job on this demo. Hats off once again.

great jet. I was a plane capt on the J & S model. the jet can turn tighter if the leading edge wing slats work!!

Yes, and the slats will also help slow it down so it won't come in hot as Rich said. That is a characteristic of the F-4 Phantom II. In fact, I'm sure you will recall, it also had specially designed spots where air was forced in certain areas of the slats/wing roots and other areas of the wing to slow it down on landings and add extra lift to get it off the ground on takeoffs. ^_=

Now you got it dialed in Rich. That low inverted pass was sweet it's kinda like you're signature on a video. That and the smokin Hot Fly girl. Tell Aimee HELLO from RECKEM ROY 😎

It was a common characteristic of all F-4s would come in hot if it didn't have flats full extended, wing slats, and specially designed areas where streams of air would be forced out and over the wing slats/wing root help it slow down and provide extra lift for takeoffs. ^_^

That was a good 4:30min flight!
would you say this 8s version has a good 10% 15% more power and speed vs the 6s version?

It has way loads of power! I was also flying it hard in the video due to the high winds. It has some blazing speed:)

RCINFORMER hey rich i had a quick question about whether u think it wohld be a good idea to switch out the bec in this plane i noticed the 6s version uses the 8amp bec but the 8s on lynckme with 5 amp bec. I want to get a castle cc bec 2 but am worried the default voltage is high at 5.25v vs the stock 5v? Any guidance would be helpfull thanks rich!

How fast does it go. I have been looking for a really fast edf that fits into the arrangements of a f4 phantom or f14 tomcat and I am just wondering how fast this one goes. The 8s varient of course.

About 120mph level flight speed on a 8s 50c setup
