I would think if you're working with radioactive materials, that the reaction wouldn't be the surprising part. I would think whoever is surprised, is surprised by what the reaction is causing or doing. Maybe something we can't see or don't have the full context to yet? @@AJBurwell I guess I would assume that scientists at this time would know if two materials would react with each other, it would be the functioning of the reactor or whatever the reactor powers that is surprising. The fact that Lee had these tapes ties SSF into these experiments somehow. It just can't be a coincidence that Lee had tapes from experiments John Shea conducted that predate SSF... Maybe it was a backend way for the government to fund his experiments in a way that is not traceable? Maybe John was using the SSF studio to store and examine the tapes he had, and Lee just came across them? There are a ton of things that just don't make sense right now
Yeah, we don't know what type of reactor it might be, if it even is one. Maybe it was some new sort of process. I think the most reasonable explanation for Lee having the tapes is that he and John stayed in contact after the studio dissolved, and John gave them to him at some point. I don't think Lee had anything to do with the white room stuff.
That seems like a fairly compact reactor giving precedent to your classified radioactive flying vehicle theory for sure. Also (I assume) John's accent rocks in this vid. Love his "thank you" at the beginning where it really shows. My main question coming from this video is, where do we think these tests were being held? Despite not having enough evidence to go off of, it wouldn't surprise me if it was in the same reused mines as the rest of SSF. That would be a safe place to hold radiation tests and the guise of educational science videos might even lend some plausible deniability if they were caught with some odd scientific equipment. Might even explain the fire too, but again this might just be me going off on another wild theory. Also are you guys feeling any trepidation sharing a video online that's explicitly labeled "do not duplicate" on it?
We absolutely didn't have anything like this at the studio. It's too big. And after Gary left, we all took turns covering his old jobs. One of those was light maintenance and cleaning of the elevator shaft. I was in it a few times, and it only went down the two levels (the main offices and studios and the storage level).

Not too worried. It's probably upwards of 50 years old. If we haven't been talked to by someone by this point, I don't think it's gonna happen.
