Two points: • Why is every scene in slowmo? Great lenses shouldn’t need slowmo to look great. • How can you make a video to showcase how these lenses perform on a… what camera is this? It’s vital peice of information that was left out.
Agreed. I always thought slomo is best suited to YT and Vimeo enthusiasts starting videos with wheat or flowers blowing in the wind over morbid piano music lol
Really love what Cooke is doing with the SP3, though I really wish Cooke make something like the Zeiss Otus performance for mirrorless camera (making the best lens possible, money no object whatsoever but still have the Cooke look). Hope we can get high quality Cooke in the hands of common folks like myself.
A company that got on board with the TIMES. BIG is now small & matched with great technology such as the new Ronin 4D Flex & CAM. This is now an incredibly comparable union of next generation cinematographer / film maker, marriage made in heaven. Thank you COOKE for having the VISION to change. I’m IN!
Will the image from a full frame 32mm lens on a Super 35 camera look different than an image of the same subject from a S35 32mm lens on that camera? For example, the regular classic Panchros come in FF and S35. Will these make different images on a S35 sensor, even if the framing is exactly the same? A 32mm FF lens is usually considered a "wide" angle lens, whicl a 32mm S35 lens would be considered "normal".
A:this shooter made a lot of intereting choices. The focusing consistency is eh and the exposure is eh. B: I just got my hands on these yesterday at B&H Bild Expo in NYC, the image looked so clean. This shooting scenario is just odd
As a photographer, who trained originally in video production. I like that these lenses have character and are not just relying on ultimate sharpness, like most modern lenses do.
Well its Cooke nothing to say here. Nothing but the best lenses in the world. Any clients projects I always use cooke lenses and now we have an affordable cooke lenses this is a game changer!
@@user-zv7lm8uk7h 😂 I know. But I’m a Cooke guy 🤷🏽♂️. I stay with brands that I trust and use for production. I might rent Otis though and try them out, but it doesn’t have dedicated lens gear is the problem. My AC would hate me 😂
This footage is pretty blah and some is out of focus and muddy and full of artifacts. Sorry cooke but this aint it. Im sure the lenses can look better...but this footage isn't proving that.
@geoffwebb1 yeah not to mention the shaky camera (poorly corrected with image stabilization). Damn... a 20K set of lenses and they couldn't get a stabilizer on set for the promo shoot. I'm amazed as well.
I haven’t seen one video that made me want these lenses yet
Me too, and ive rented the high end cookes many times.
Beautiful lens !! Genius light !!
Budapest in the late evening hours. I love it. Beautiful lenses.
Top notch results ♥️

'The Hollywood look' just became accessible.
Wow what an exciting announcement!!!! Looking forward to the L and M mount!!!!! Are these made in Leicester?
Whelp, I found my next set of lenses to use with my FX6.

Wow these Mitakon Speedmasters look great!
No ef or pl mount?
Everything looks soft

I was thinking it's been shot with a diffusion filter, or an fx added in post…but that'd be nuts!
Bah! 🥱

Why no L mount release?
which camera was used?

bit slow for the price Cooke
I would love to see some real tests, not some slowmo night shots
Very very disappointed there is no 40mm. Like seriously, what are you doing?!
Sigma GOT YOU.
@@user-zv7lm8uk7h Sigma’s have to much micro contrast. Can’t shoot a face with it or you’ll run into the eyebrow problem.
guess you never heard of glimmer glass or promist. or IPP2.@@VariTimo
Always hilarious to see the worst reels and horrible grading to showcase professional camera equipment 😂

Yeah super lame video unfortunately, everything from the setup, to the white balance to the exposure is just blurp

ridiculous. even more so with the sound off
Im curious why you think that? Genuine question, trying to learn more about lenses and the qualities between brands
Go learn about otus and masterprimes. @@AdamTheArcane
