Thanks. Yeah I've been pretty lucky here in Germany. This concert was in a large room and they only allowed 50 people or so. Since about the end of June I have been able to play quite a bit. I hope you are safe where you are!
Love the slide down the vibraphone keyboard at the end! It seems to me that you have developed a technique that makes a lot of sense. Using the inner mallet on the right hand looks more relaxed and less awkward than the Burton grip, but you also use the outer mallet. There is tremendous fluidity to your playing. I play the vibes (light years behind you) and find that one of the most difficult aspects of 4 mallet playing is clunking the mallet heads together when trying to play fast. And trying to stay relaxed and swing despite the inherent awkwardness of the grip. You have mastered the instrument and in my opinion are one of the premier jazz vibraphonists. Thanks for uploading this great music. (I bought your new CD and am looking forward to listening to it in it’s entirety).
You're cooking on this one Tim.
Fantastic playing individually and connection as an ensemble
Always enjoying listening to your music Tim, even with GoPro sound!
Ya'll sound great. I'm so glad to see live performances happening

Thank you! I sent the CD yesterday.. hopefully it doesn’t take too long to arrive.
Excellent performance of a great tune. I’m stealing the start of your solo, love the low register/use of space.
Thanks! Steal away - I probably got it from somewhere too
