Jimi,Jimi,Jimi...have been quite a learning curve with my new Kemper. Almost threw in the towel. Downloaded this today as well as another of yours. Now I see the light with the Kemper. This profile is outstanding; between the touch sensitivity and individual string harmonics (full chords), I’m sold. You sir, are he master 🤘🏼
got so busy last night with jobs around the house finally got to the download of this, got it loaded into the Kemper, picked up my old Tokai Tele , plugged it in and hit a power chord and in a scary realization, I saw it was 11;30pm and my FRFR cab was blasting right at my neighbors house and kids bedrooms haha so having another play of it today at a more reasonable hour when I get home from work. haha. thanks for capturing such great amps so incredibly well. you have been able to somehow shoehorn such dynamic feel into your profiles where some others just are like bad snapshots of an amp at some stage.
I've had my Kemper for around 6 months now. When I first got it I ordered a lot of profiles from various folks. From time to time, I go through them all, and there are some really great ones, but I always come back to these profiles. They are by far the best ones out there. Thanks for the awesome work!
Hey Jimi! I've already bought couple of your profiles (Cantrell, JP2C, 68Plexi to name a few) cause they sounds gorgeous. Currently I'm still waiting Kemper PowerHead to be delivered, and cant test them, so I have one quick question regarding how profiles supposed to be used. I have a 1x12 cab with V30 speaker in it. Question is: will it be fair to use "merged" profile, that was made with the same type of speaker to have the same (or very close) sound representation of a real amp ? Thanks in advance, Alex
Honestly, if you use the studio profile into a full range speaker you'll get the closest to what's heard in the demos. If you want to use a traditional guitar speaker, then the V30 would be the best choice for profiles using that particular speaker. There are also profiles in this pack using old 25W Greenbacks with Pulsonic cones, but they're expensive and pretty rare.
Many thanks Jimi! Is there any plan for profiling Peavey 5150 ? Also one suggestion is that it would be nice to have Bass, Middle, Treble, Presence amp settings of each profile in a pack to make things clearer ;)
Since you've already made the leap to get the Kemper, I would highly recommend a Passive (since you have the powerhead, like I do) Full Range Flat Response (FRFR) speaker. That will represent the tone best. I just ordered a Mission Passive Gemini 2, so I can retain using killer stereo effects the Kemper has. With the MG2 you can "colour" the sound to be more like a guitar cab, or leave it flat.
Would love to do a proper video of the Gilbert Marshall. I actually have both Gilbert Marshalls now (including the Mel Bay Rocket). Unfortunately videos take a lot of time to produce, which means I can do less profiling. So, I will eventually but not sure how soon...
Hi Top Jimi , so that tone is coming out and headed to your interface like a focusrite and then computer and then your monitors ? your a badass musician , nice work
Fred Garvin It’s the Kemper direct into the DAW. No cabinet. If you run direct, you’ll have the exact same tone as this. If you use an external cab, the tone will be colored by your cab/speaker.
Your profiles are really good for studio, since the final sound comes from a mic/cabinet sound. I wish if Jimi start profiling with DI box. I have tried to compare my Marshall jubilee amp with the profiles out there and they all sound compressed , obviously it's a cab sound in the mix and not a real tube amp sound. In case you're wondering what that is: shop.kempermusic.us/kemper/profiler-accessories/profiler-di-box.html
We include a merged version of every one of our profiles, which are created with the exact box you reference. Merged profiles are intended by Kemper to be used with a traditional guitar cab.
Top Jimi is my fave profiler and I think I have pretty much every profile. Thank you for the new format as well. Big fan.
Thank you!

Awesome! Thank you.
I love the new video style, love the profiles.
Thank you. It’s a lot more work, but I think more interesting and useful for the viewer.
My favorite so far. I was on the fence about ordering a kemper. These tones are sick. I can hear the pick drag across each individual string.
that's what I like about the brown sound pack aslo..that pick "chirp" sound you get. Very authentic..
do more videos like this.. awesome.. best profiles for the kemper..
Totally dig it! Definitely going to get this pack! Thank you for saving us a ton of money!
Bought this immediately upon release. Awesome!!!
Glad you like ‘em!
Bought this pack the day it came out and its incredible
Twisted Clown Thank you!
Great video! Always loved Jerry's tone and these sound spot-on.
Damn. The tone is so powerful it blew the knobs off of that Gibson.
Man I got my kemper, but don't have a computer, cant wait till I can get some profiles from top jimi....I watch the vids everyday! Lol
Great profiles my friend. Purchased it. Nice. Very nice
Hi, Jimi!!! Thanks for your profiles!!! And.. you are great guitar player!!!!!!
This profile pack made me late for work today!! Couldn't stop jamming on it! Might have to leave the office early!! lol jk

Sounds great
Another kickass profile🤘🎸🔊
Added to my wishlist!
Do you live in a guitar store or does your house just have a guitar store room?? :D That JJ JBE High profile at 2:17 sounds just awesome!!
Have you been talking to my wife? ;-)
Very nice.......thinking about getting a Kemper and purchasing the Paul Gilbert Marshall pack. Could you do a demonstration with the Gilbert Marshall?
Would love to do a proper video of the Gilbert Marshall. I actually have both Gilbert Marshalls now (including the Mel Bay Rocket). Unfortunately videos take a lot of time to produce, which means I can do less profiling. So, I will eventually but not sure how soon...
Please make these for the Tone X 🙏
Hi, is this profile going to sound up to mark if we turn off the power amp and cab sim and run it into a real 4x12 with a power-amp?
Hi. When you start substituting parts of the signal chain, all bets are off as to what it’ll end up sounding like.
Hi Top Jimi , so that tone is coming out and headed to your interface like a focusrite and then computer and then your monitors ? your a badass musician , nice work
Mark Durling Yes, that’s the signal path. 👍
Sick dude! Sounds great!!!!
Your profiles sound great Jim! What pickup do you use in Gibson for this video?
Hi, The previous owner put a set of Duncan Joe Bonamassa Skinnerburst pickups in it. I think they made an excellent choice. 😎
Will the files for the various sounds work with any other systems, beside the Kemper?
Kemper has a proprietary profile format, so no
@@TopJimiStudios Thanks for the quick reply!
Wow, did It Ain't Like That sound great or what? The others were great as well.
What kind of picks do you use in the les paul?? Sounds incredible man!!
Thank you. I like the little Dunlop Tortex Jazz picks. They've got a sharper point, which is prefer.
Top Jimi Kemper Amp Profiles Thanks!!!
Dare these examples played through a cab or direct through a DAW?
Direct to DAW
Very nice profiles! Recorded directly from Kemper to audio interface?
Yes Sir, direct from Kemper to DAW.
Spdif or XLR?
@@TopJimiStudios
Awesome guitar-colleciton
Can you make a tonex pack for this amp?
Yes, I will.
Is that Kemper powered? Are we hearing a cab? DI? It sounds bone chilling. I'm gonna have to bite the bullet. I bookmarked your page. Thanks.

That's really amazing. I don't think I can hold out any longer.
When are you guys going to profile a Larry Dino 939?
Haven't heard of that one. Will need to check it out.
Recording with Spdif or xlr?
SPDIF, but XLR sounds the same.
SPOT ON buddy
Excelente!
