These are great news!! I am dreaming of a digital fixed lens medium format camera as a daily companion since 2015 😂 I was hoping for a longer focal length (something more 'exotic' like a 70mm would have been awesome IMO) but I’ll gladly take the wide angle right away. Digital GF670W let‘s gooooo 💖
with good AF or bad, the majority of people can't even take sharp pictures of their cats sleeping on the windowsill anyway. So I don't understand all the complaining🐈
The q3 is a big success for Leica. If the rumors are true the Fuji will also be. With f/3.5 medium format they will be able to make the lens very small. For me it would be a perfect every day camera. I am mostly shooting people and environmental portraits and therefore rarely use a faster aperture than f/2.8 on FF. With moving subjects 1/250s is also the minimum shutter speed so I rarely benefit from an IBIS.
I shot a lot with medium format back on film, mostly big and tripod mounted cameras. I can understand the wider lens and crop (Q3 style) as lots of MP however.... If it is Leica Priced, a Q3 with a F/1.7 28mm lens or a Fuji GFX100RF with an F/4 lens is a hard sell on the spec sheet even if in reality you'd stop down to get correct DOF.. that doesn't sell cameras... but this is a niche product, I can see landscape photographers wanting this, especially if it is a significant price drop from buying a GFX 100S II and a wide lens (bare in mind the 30mm F/3.5 is currently £1649, the GFX 1000SII is currently £4599 total = £6248, a Leica Q3 is currently £5400) if the GFX100RF came in at £3500-4000 it would be a compelling option for some. I'm happy with my X100 VI
IBIS would have been very difficult to implement without making the camera even larger. However, a hand held camera with 102mp is going to be an extremely questionable choice. The lens better be extremely fast so shutter speeds can be set high enough to compensate. Pity they couldn't put OIS in the lens. I like the concept but the killer will be the price. If it's expensive, it's going to be a dead duck.
The 102MP 33x44 sensor has an almost identical pixel pitch as the 26MP APS-C sensor. Combine this with a leaf shutter and you’ll be totally fine, just like with a X100V! If it benefits a small form factor I’m totally with Fuji here 🤙🏻
Will this be a released before or after the Xpro4 that i saw “pictures” of and a huge fanfare announcement a few months ago?! So. No idea what lens, no idea what viewfinder, not sure what size it will be, lots of guesses but nothing but speculation at this point? But you’re sure it’s definitely going to happen given what you know about it this far?!
I think it’s a good move for them . I own a Texas Leica or the Fujifilm GW 690 ii film camera . That camera is a medium format film camera. Super basic with no light meter . This could be a modern version of this camera . Will this camera come as 40mm f/1.2 ish lens or a 28mm fov ? Fujifilm had both back then . I bet it will steal some thunder from some Leica users but also bring in photographers that want a Leica rangefinder that can’t afford a Leica .
no ibis, the size of x-pro. that is a gfx100s with no evf bump and slimmer top-down wise. this gfx100rf thing, is not going to be much better than the gfx100sii + 30mm f3.5 combo which is already quite light.
You just gotta love how much Fujifilm put out over the years to show people how unnecessary Full Frame is apparently. Just for them then to.... make a Medium Format line with GFX LOL
Is it only me who thinks it is pointless the fixed lens cameras? for real, you can have a lens on your camera. You don't want to change it? then don't change it. Take your 35mm and stick it on it. why do you choose to pay this huge amount of money for a camera with zero flexibility?
Just visit a camera store and look how big a GFX 100 is. If they manage to make it as small as a X-Pro 3 with a small lens then it makes sense. And of course I bet it will also be cheaper than the GFX with a 35mm lens.
Very popular with street photographers and the more "artistry" side of photography. I for one love them, I still carry a Nikon Coolpix A (ASP-C) around.
Well. Given current situation. We already know the pre order will be more than expected. If you dont like it or understand. Then let others go get it. Its their problem their money.

So sad.. seems like really no more RX1 line anymore.
no IBIS at 100mp make no sense in a camera that its designed to be out shooting handheld...
But roughly at the same size of a x-pro3 it shouldn't be a problem right?
Having no ibis on any camera at any size is a problem
@@harryvlogs7833 I kinda never used a camera with ibis, so basically I think everyone can handled it.
Dont get how people shoot medium format cameras for generations without ibis
@eortizfoto yeah on a stand not hand held
Yeah, full frame rangefinder with fixed lens and ibis from fujifilm would be insane - easy upgrade from x100
Similar size to xpro3 might suggest it may not have a mechanical shutter?
Hot rumor.... Fuji actually makes a camera that focuses correctly. Coming in 2075
That's ambitious.

Hoping to hear about the A7V or FX3 mk II
Is there any source news, about the RX lineup
How about they launch three lens versions? I mean the q3 already has 2

we want the xpro 4 with the 26 mpx stacked sensor
never happening, a 2500 dollar rangefinder is too niche

Any fujifilm gfx 100 lll rumours. Others have mentioned it.
The concept is viable. The issue is, as ever, the price point.
Every medium format camera launch is good news! 🎉
sounds great!
Prediction - lens is 35mm f3.5 (28mm f2.8 equivalent in FF).

Have a secret for you… fast shutter speed!
@@eortizfoto Is this the secret that I already mentioned? If so, thanks. I already mentioned it.

Inam selling my kidney for this
Not joking
I need to know what the lens aperture is, if it's 3.5 as they say, i don't want it.
Fujifilm is always Hot
Fixed lens kills it for me
In about three years I might buy a used one but I’m not likely to purchase one new.

Fuji can’t already keep up with supply and demand and refuse to right size mfg to correct the issues.
Customer waiting......
auto focus is more than enough, look at the leica. it will be another unobtainium
A fixed lens and no IBIS in 2025 makes no sense. Who would want that?
I will
Toooooooo much camera for 99.9%

if they do 50 mm f1.2 lens with 100 mpx sensor, and x0.5 macro magnification.. then... this could work.
It’ll never be that. This is a compact travel camera offering. Lens won’t be faster than f3.5.
@@albedo0point39 Of course, I know :)

@@sgpork Well the problem is folks not thinking for themselves and buying into the HYPE. Eventually that becomes EVERYONE's problem.
Is there even a chance for x pro 4?🥲
