a cool 4 player challenge would be “speak no evil, see no evil, hear no evil, do no evil”
1 player is blind (or has basically no vision)
1 player is unable to hear any in-game sounds
1 player is unable to speak in game (& cannot use spirit box even w/ the tool assistance)
1 player cannot interact w items, breakers, lights, or doors
That would be so good, and it would choose randomly
That sounds so cool!
Honestly my favourite challenge I have personally played so far, really fun and a good way to test your knowledge about all of the quirks of every ghost type
A friend and I kept somehow guessing it the first time but we doubted our skills and ended up oicking something different... DO NOT DOUBT YOUR TEAM

I think a fun challenge to do would be a scardy cat challenge. You put video cams and sound sensors all throughout tanglewood and try to figure out the ghost with someone just hiding in a closet so you can trigger hunts. Either have ult account afk sit inside or a viewer or a friend. The person on the bus has to figure out the ghost.

I don't know how but when I played this at first I somehow didn't read the "No evidence" and I thought that the ghost just was less active

We had two Moroi's and a goryo. We found using the paramic on the moroi gave us the curse and helped identify it really quickly.
Am I the only one who noticed the name of the 2nd ghost being Carlos Norris ... F1 ... Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris ... The best friendship in F1. The still got respect for each other and value their friendship, even tho they are rivals on track.

My friends and I are very newbie players, but we are now pretty good at gathering evidence. We still can't really loop or reliably survive hunts, but we were able to do a no-evidence challenge and figure out the ghost type. Altougth 2 of us died. xD But this video was very educational, thanks for being so cool and explaining a lot of things! It helps us a ton!

A straight up classic, we can never get enough of this lol. :D My favourite challenge too, been for a looong time now!
When I did this challenge I honestly got insanely lucky. My first two were mimics and I bet you can guess how I figured it out. The second one was more interesting because for some reason instead of bringing a flashlight I brought a video cam to help me see where I was going and just happened to walk in the ghost room and see the orb. Finally my last ghost was a wraith which I could tell after having tons of salt placed that never got stepped on after like 10 minutes.

I've seen a mimic use the abilities of other ghosts. One used a polti throw right in front of me and so both me and my friend thought it was a Polti only to get it wrong. It trolled us hard. lol.
They should do a challenge where you’re up against 2 different ghosts at the same time.
It would be really cool if certain ghosts had possession abilities. If a player has died on the map, and the next time they hunt, if they walk over the body, it would be really cool if it could possess the body and move the body around during the hunt and then drop it whenever the Hunt is over.
I've actually caught up with Insym Phasmo, watched every single one in my bookmarks/backlog

I've had 4 model examples of ghosts in this one:
1) a model onryo - three candles blown then poof goes the crucifix at 80% sanity;
2) a demon that killed me right after I found its room (I forgor to fill it in bcz low iq);
3) a model wraith - I got an emf right on my ass far from the ghost and a triggered motion sensor with a salt pile intact;
4) a textbook example of a shade - almost no activity, one event in 20 minutes, no hunts at 0% with me in its room and an immediate attempt to hunt as soon as I left.
Usually I hate to play with no evidence, but this time it was way too perfect. Completed with only one hunt from that demon.
Having a meh time of it, Had a Deo event in every room I walked into, was interrupted by kids so had to guess pre hunt so went banshee. Was well pissed, should of got that one. Also had one I set up a polty pile, sat in the room in the dark for 15 mins with nothing happening and guessed shade. Turned out it was a demon. Followed by Yokai (need to work on my electronic range testing), Yuri, Mare all not really doing anything to guess. Had a Jinn I mistook for a revenant until the next round I got a revenant followed by a successful Onryo test.
All in all lacking experience in hunts to truly tell 100% but know enough to narrow it down to a handful of ghosts. kinda fed up now and don't want to play anymore :(
Honestly, play 1 or 2 evidence and try to use that to figure out the list of what it can be, then learn hunt behavior. You'll have a lot less to guess from if you cut out a good chunk based on 1 or 2 evidence
@@sairentoeko Very good advice. Been playing a few rounds of that and zero evidence insta hunts to practice things like looping.
Geez you got unlucky with a demon who didn’t hunt for 15 minutes, there’s sooo much to learn about the ghost behaviours don’t be so hard on yourself. I haven’t played the game but I watch most of his phasmo videos/lives and I still forget and miss things and guess wrong
haven't watched insym in 3 days (which is quite unusual) and i dreamed about going to Netherlands and seeing him streaming in hair salon lol i guess i missed the daily dosym 🤷🏻♀️

We got pretty lucky with ghosts for this weekly which are Poltergeist, Obake and Raiju! Use mirror, dump salt to test Wraith, let them hunt and loop 👌
Imagine if mimics had the ability to play back your own voice through the spirit box if they mimicked a player!
I got a Yurei from a front door touch. I was pretty excited.
Bro casually got the Chuck Norris Easter egg at 5:17 and didn’t notice it
Carried my friend on it, got a demon, thaye, and shade first try luckily. Was about to go for the twins on the thaye one, decided to wait out a few more hunts and luckily picked thaye instead
I had fun with this challenge and got pretty lucky so i didn't have to suffer with goryo or something.
Had a demon on my first run that hunted early. Then I had two phantoms. First one I wasn't sure if the ghost photo was doing the dots state glitch so I had to use the roaming behaviour to double check. And then the other was pretty obvious with the pic. So overall, super fast challenge this week for me

I think that mimic turning into the player means it gets your speed
I had 2 Banshees and a Hantu. The second Banshee didn't really roam to me and took like forever to give me a scream.
Had a mimic on the 3rd run. Didn't see the orbs at first, when it mimicked a demon I questioned it and looked for orbs again. Got a goryo on one run and got it wrong.
I luckily got two onryos and a twins, pretty good challenge just hated having to find the breaker solo 😭
I'd never done no evidence before this weekly. Did this solo, took me about 8 attempts. One was super easy (Rev) and the other 2 I got as I died to them, very early hunter (Demon) and the other I couldn't see as it hunted me down and killed my ass (Phantom).
On this one, I did it in only the three tries minimum for once. The wraith and phantom were easy, the third was a Mare and I'm surprised I got it write after narrowing it down to three. Was just basing on there maybe once being a mare ability and it was changing rooms out of the light a lot.
I forgot about the mare not liking light, how does that work again? Does it move faster in the dark or the light? Is that the ghost that moves faster in its fave room?
@@jessschwarze8126 It hunts at 60 sanity if it is in a dark room and at 40 in a bright room. And I believe it has a mechanic where it has an increased chance to change favorite room if it's favorite room is bright.
Actually got the ghost wrong a bunch of times after getting two Raiju's in a row. Wraith and Revenant

When laying the book down in "no evidence", will the ghost throw the book away if book writing isnt an evidence
i assume if it is no evidence so the only interaction with the book is throwing it no matter if the ghost's evidence is ghost writing

I got very lucky with this challenge. Two kitchen Mimics for my first and last. A Phantom for my second when I took its picture as it spawned on me for an event. And then I messed up my third because I was unsure between a Rev and a Jinn while testing during the hunt. I guessed wrong for my 50/50.
Sounds a lot like how I made my challenge. Got deos as my first and third with wraith as second. I got bamboozled by moroi on one of runs because it didn't want to curse me and ruled it out prematurely and there was another one I can't recall now.
would be kind of funny if during a hunt, the mimic does become a player and you are with friends so ur like oh hey and then kill u and ur like oh

I kept getting yurei and goryo, so my runs were very cursed. Eventually I got an Oni, Rev and Moroi.
We got a Yurai that did Zero abilities in 1 whole HOUR

Does lighter count towards onryo's forced hunt after three blowouts? i think i saw Psyho do video about lighter no longer counting some time ago... I might have missunderstood that.
Yes. Onryo won't always hunt immediately, they can do it within 6 seconds after the 3rd blowout. Usually by then people have re-lit their lighter or candle, which just causes another blowout when the ghost tries to hunt. And I have heard of onryos being a bit buggy sometimes and just not trying to hunt after the 3rd blowout (regardless of the source, candle or lighter).
Yesterday i played no evidence challenge mode with my brother and i saw couple times orbs. I said lets get out its a mimic. We got out finished game and it was a banshee. I still have no explanation on how thats possible ._.

Who else been doing the weekly challenges solo most or all the time?
Me 100%. Two of my friends got me into the game and we used to play but they just kinda stopped so I’ve been doing them solo.
I do them all solo. Occasionally for the harder ones (on high school/prison/sunny meadows) I will finish mine on single player, and then log on to multiplayer and offer to carry people through the challenge. You don't really see a lot of random lobbies trying the challenge mode because the better players prefer 9x-12x reward runs for farming money, and the less skilled players are usually too intimidated by the challenge without an experienced player.

Tier 2 candle counts as 3 candles at the same time, so if the ghost blows the tier 2 candle and does not hunt immediately, then it's not Onryo.
Edit: What I said above is false. Onryo still needs to blow tier 2 candle 3 times to hunt. I spent my day trying to get an Onryo to test this and it didn't work.
No it doesn't. The appearance is just graphical, it still only counts as one flame.
Straight off the wiki: "The Tier II firelight counts as a single flame for all purposes."
