    Do you actually use that prp cubby hole bag? I’ve been debating getting one cause I usually just put my phone in that hole and hope for the best that I don’t lose it in the rzr

      I did up until recently, worked great for GoPro stuff. Unfortunately I had a rough day with zippers last trip. I broke the zipper on it and on a door bag. Still gotta see if it’s repairable.

    Why not put the isolator in it as well?

    How did you know it wasn't the fuel pump. My machine does the same thing and battery says it's good but I just put a new battery in.

    Is there any accessories you’d recommend getting for the pro xp sport straight from the dealer? Finally going to pick it up tomorrow, wasn’t really wanting any but thought I’d ask

      There’s nothing I can think off the top of my head that’s necessary to get from the dealership.

      Cage should be necessary. The stock cage isn’t DOM.

    Its pretty easy on a two seater, I just got a dual battery kit on brand new 2022 rzr pro xp 4, 2nd battery goes underneath front passenger seat therefore the positive has to go across the center console into the positive terminal of the primary battery underneath driver’s seat. With this being said instructions call for removal of both left and right hand side panels of center console, spent all day yesterday taking all screws and push pins out and removed most of the panels, but for the life of me i cant get it detach at the end by the cup holder, dont want to force and break anything. Any tips? Cant find any video or any information on install on this exact machine on internet :( please help.

      Hmmmm, are you able to get it to move at all? The projects I’ve done where the center console is the way, I’ve always taken it apart just enough to do what I’ve gotta do. I’ve never fully removed mine, just removed the hardware and got it out of my way. I just tried looking at pictures of the pro xp4 and it looks like it maybe different than the 2 seater. On the 2 seater it’s essentially 4 pieces. The top panel is held on by a t-40 under the rubber piece on the shifter gate and then it pops in but can be a pain in the ass. The center console itself is 1 piece held on by t-40’s and then you open the compartment and there’s 2 twist knobs in there then that would release. The 2 sides are t-40s and a couple push pins up under the dash. If none that helps, I would try and go on Rocky Mountain atv’s website and go to were they sell oem parts. There you find your machine in the list or any pro xp 4 seater and look for the listings for interior or center console and when you click on that there should be a diagram of all the parts and you might be able to better see how it all goes together. This is what I do if I’m questioning how something comes apart! Hope that helps!!

      I have the same issue. Polaris instructions suck! There's a reason they don't have a video on how to install it. It's just too difficult to do and they don't want users to see how much work goes into adding a stupid 2nd battery. Maybe they should just move to a larger car battery. As for the cup holder not coming out, I am having the same issue right now.

    • @SomewhatHaggard
      @SomewhatHaggard  2 года назад +1

      It’s crazy no one has done a video on the 4 seater yet!!

    • @reddirtwarriors4846
      @reddirtwarriors4846 2 года назад +1

      @@SomewhatHaggard I was just thinking about doing that. It really does suck!l My seatbelts are inside the headrest, meaning that in order to remove both seats, the entire seatbelt needs to be removed from 4 points. THen I just realized that there is the seatbelt electronic system that only allows for the seat to be pulled out about 1.5 feet. I might take a video after I install it and point out how much has to come out.

    • @Warmenlt

      @@reddirtwarriors4846 So I have done it, I only removed two bolts for the seat belt, one bolt on the seat towards the outside and one on the door frame, then I flipped the whole damn seat with the rest of the seatbelt towards the back of the machine without removing the entire seatbelt assembly, kinda a pain in the a ss cause its dangling over you ,but at least out of the way to do the job.

    Did you get the batteries from polaris. Is so how much and if not where did you get them and what size and cost. Thanks

    • @SomewhatHaggard
      @SomewhatHaggard  2 года назад +1

      Yes the batteries and wiring kit are from Polaris. I think the batteries were around $170-$180 a piece. The wiring kit I don’t remember how much that was, I bought it long before the batteries.

    I want to add a second battery so that all my accessories can run constantly and put a voltage meter in the dash to see where it's at at all times... I don't have any experience with rzrs since I just bought my 1st one. is it the same as having 2 batteries in a boat is there a switch that you go back-and-forth or is it constantly just running 24 V instead of 12?

    • @SomewhatHaggard
      @SomewhatHaggard  2 года назад +1

      This particular kit is not like that it just provides the wires to wire them together. I’m pretty sure they have aftermarket kits that you can add a switch and I think some are designed to be wired so one battery is used to crank the engine and the other battery runs the accessories.

    • @Warmenlt
      @Warmenlt 2 года назад +1

      Dude, don't you connect them in series which is what would provide 24V, the kit is designed to run on parallel connection which will maintain 12V however double your capacity. Volts will be more stable and you get more runtime ,if your machine is off or short runs and frequent cranking for whatever reason. kit and t he instructions is to simply provide you more capacity and run everything just like the original battery.

    • @SomewhatHaggard
      @SomewhatHaggard  2 года назад +1

      Yeah that’s correct, it’s not 24v it just stays slightly over 12v with accessories running.

    Will this work for a 4 seater

    • @SomewhatHaggard
      @SomewhatHaggard  2 года назад +1

      Not 100% sure. I remember the instructions have separate directions for 4 seaters. If it is the same cables for the 4 seaters I know there was more to the install. I remember seeing that you have to remove the center counsel on the 4 seater. If I can figure the part number on the kit I have I’ll look to see if it is for both and add another comment.

      If it's a 2021 Pro XP 4, then the 2nd battery goes under the passenger side. It's a real PITA.

      Primary is installed beneath driver’s seat. Secondary battery is to be installed beneath front passenger’s seat.

    Added 2 more junk batteries, and hooked them direct with no isolator. Didn’t really solve your issue.

    • @SomewhatHaggard
      @SomewhatHaggard  2 года назад

      I understand it’s not the best way to do it. I haven’t had any issues since doing it though.

    • @Mikeyhoncho1
      @Mikeyhoncho1 2 года назад

      @@SomewhatHaggard not really saying your going to have an issue. but you bought two more junk batteries like what you previously had, and when one goes bad it will take the other with it. You need one isolated from the other,and one that starts machine, and other to run accessories. hooking them together really does no good.
