I have the Extreme Performance tire carrier. 2000 hard desert miles on it. No problems. Another benefit is you can see over it with rear view mirror.

Can you lift easily enough with no gas strut? The tire rests on the plastic bed?
@@ryanbraun2000 Yes. It lifts OK. I use a broomstick cut to length to hold open. A 14q Colman cooler fits perfectly under it and takes some of the weight off the bed sides. I use soft toolboxes in front of the cooler.

Alot of those will hokd soft bags for tools and cooler. Pro armor makes a great one

Do any of these carriers allow for use of the Polaris storage boxes AND won’t obstruct the chase light?
I think that depends on where your chase light is. Pretty sure the Cagewrx one allows for the Polaris storage
