What if u use a peltier module fan to blow through the cans? Meaning cold air will blow straight in aluminum tube plus keeping the ice around it even colder.

I wonder if you used rolled up thin copper sheets instead of the aluminum if it would work better. Similar concept to other people wrapping copper tubing in front of a fan and running ice water through the copper pipe with a pump.

If you're going to mk a cheap one like this its best to put the cans lower. You will either have to seal the openings with caulk or just use frozen water bottles or leave the ice in the bag. Cold air falls which is why its always coldest at the bottom. The best cheap design is by using a rack of some type like in a refrigerator and thats where the ice goes. You cut 1 or 2 holes on the top lid of the cooler and sticking a PVC 90 in ea hole. At the bottom and below the rack hook your fan or blower and attach it to the side of the cooler. I use a boat blower and man does it put out the air. The air comes from the bottom pushing all that very cold air to the top, through the ice on the rack making it even cooler and when it comes out of the (Adjustable) 90s at the top the air is all the way down to the 30s! This is Fahrenheit btw. Its a very easy and cheap design and is hands down the best so far because the air literally is that cold coming out. There are even videos of this exact design im talking about with proof of how cold it gets. The key is getting UNDER the ice where the cold air falls and stays for the most part. Hope this helps.

If the air gets colder the longer it stays in the tube, might not an aluminium, flexible, airconditioning tube work better, it can be twisted several times in the box meaning the air is travelling further in the cold?

Air conditioners remove hot humid air from the room and and blow it outside while a coolant cools the room. This only blows cool air from a container without removing the unwanted hot humid air and expelling it.

Adding salt does not make ice any colder. Using a freezer that can remove more heat is the only way to do this. Adding salt actually causes freezing point depression, which means the ice will actually melt faster. There is no benefits in introducing more solutes to water.
