Honestly I feel like Jack is so underrated, I love her and her story so much. Like I can’t even romance anyone besides her most of the time because I love her so much.
i really like jack. i think she's underreted cause she's happened to be human crew member among alien members and humans are not so interesting compared to aliens. but among human crew members, she's the best. and i found myself relating to her very much. her story is giving me hope that life can be normal for me too, event if i often think i can not find my happiness and will to go on. great video, thanks!
Jack is cool and I really enjoyed her character arc, but I have to admit that playing the trilogy originally, rather than replaying it in the remaster makes a difference. When I first played 2, she was just a really cool chick, edgy, 90s cool and a really fun companion to have on the fire team. It was much later when playing three that her arc really hit. She went from that wild half naked chick with cool space magic powers, to an actual person who's growth you get to see. When then replaying it in re-master, you know she's more than tats and biotics so you pay closer attention, and the payoff comes sooner. So all that to say, my overall feel for her has swung a bit over the years.
I definitely didn’t show her enough love in my first few playthroughs, but was incredibly happy when I gave her a chance and paid better attention later
