Hariharan Saab is a musician par excellence and is in a class by himself ! Regarding his singing attributes, it's least said the better ! No adjective is sufficient to describe this enormous talent ! Perhaps, Hariharan Saab himself is his best introduction ! We owe a lot to this great singer for having enthralled us with soulful music for almost four decades which is so rich in content -- Lafz, Sur, Taal, and Loy and high aesthetic value ! Hat's off to Hariharan Saab for his impeccable track record and monumental contributions to the World Of Music 👍👏❤️ !

Without going into all those intricacies on the nomenclature of the raga, why don't we concentrate entirely on enjoying the beauty and divinity of soulful music ! What a beautiful composition it was ! How soulfully did Hariharan Saab perform it ! It has got the potentials of striking at the core of the heart of the listener and get him/her captivated instantly ! Further, the accompanists -- Sadab Saab(Tabla), Aslam Saab ( Harmonium) and Liaqat Ali Khan Saab( Sarengi).-- also performed creditably ! Hat's off to all of them for this wonderfull bandish ! -- Amarendra Borah, Former Commissioner and Secretary, Finance Department, Govt Of Assam (India).
Hariharan at his best. The essence of the 'haunting' tune used in this rendition draws its lineage from the person from he discovered Ghazal singing: Mehdi Hassan. He explains in an interview how in the quest of new forms of Hindustani classical music, as an amateur singer, he heard Mehdi Hassan in 1978 and was overwhelmed by the richness of the master's work. Eventually he started Ghazal singing and always looked up to Khaansaab Mehdi Hassan as an inspiration. Long live his legacy!

To be very frank, after the emergence of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab, the emergence of Hariharan Saab is the next best thing to happen on the ghazal horizon of India ! As a matter of fact, Hariharan Saab has got the right credentials to become one of the potential successors to the great Khan Saab glorious legacy and has already been able to get a foot hold in the process ! It may be worthwhile to mention here that Hariharan Saab held the great Mehdi Hassan Saab in very high esteem and had, infact, visited the grave of the great Khan Saab after his sad demise, along with Talat Aziz Saab, with a view to pay their homage/ respects to him ! Hariharan Saab certainly deserves a pat on his back from all discerning music lovers for his exploits so far ! -- Amarendra Borah, Former Commissioner and Secretary, Finance Department, Govt of Assam (India).

Name of tabla player is Shadaab Bhartiya and the Harmonium wizard is Ustad Akhlakh Hussain Warsi. Hariharan Ji has managed to create and sustain a team which is second to none :) Great musicians!
