I drafted a left fielder who was 75 overall with 99 potential I think they may have buffed the drafts
@@lukeriha6667 I’ve always been able to get players like that, but the issue is there’s only like 5-10 prospects in every draft who’s got like 93-94 potential and starts to good enough to ever actually hit a 89-90. Not that these should be overloaded but the amount of talent in the MLB draft every year is unreal

@@gkdunch I mean 2k has it and so does Madden, Madden’s system is a lot better than 2ks though. In terms of % they show up in randomly generated classes
I mean you can occasionally get guys who are like 70+ overall with 95+ potential which I’d say constitutes generational.

Do a field of dreams rebuild I said this in the last video but didn’t get a lot of likes. Use their field and use the team in the movie. Or relocate a team.
Tried a draft to flory rebuild myself. Have to give you props it’s insanely hard. Especially with the CPU getting too involved. Took me til 2031 to win a World Series. Found catcher, second base and reliever (not closer) the hardest to develope.

Do you do your rebuilds with iniuries toned down or off. I’ve done three or four thus far but have noticed there’s an unbelievable amount of injuries, especially with long term injuries that you don’t see irl.

Hey Ant, I have 2 things today that I’m thinking about should be added to franchise.
1: You know how players can get the heat or top 50 or all star icon next to their name I think there should be one for breakout players and it would go on someone like mid 70s and c or b potential but when they get it if they are having their breakout season their potential will start to boost and their overall will boost faster aswell making them into a much better player since at the moment those types of players a mid 70 with c potential whos 25-30 will not progress much more in their career but if they breakout they can become an all star since it happens all the time in the majors sometimes rotational players can come into the starting spot and take off and have good careers it may be broken but I would love to see it.
2 The second would have to be making the deadline more impactful and the trade block. If a player is on the trade block at the deadline they should be fairly easy to pick up instead of having to package so much for an 85 at the deadline you could give a prospect or two. Also I think that their season totals like avg, ops, hrs, rbis and stuff should make their trade value boost or drop at the deadline or any time in the season instead of their potential and overall mattering the most.

So when i do my rebuilds, the cpu consistently designates my best prospects for assignment and they get picked up on waivers?? How do I stop the cpu from doing this?

you allowed the cpu to do the trades by not trying to as involved in the rebuild until later. also how did these prospects do year in and year out. that would have been good to know. but i do love the videos. keep it up. we need a long term in depth draft to glory.

How do you do it? I manually scout my prospects and try to get the best scouts, I even did only in that region scouting too, and I get all 60 potentials. Even when the scouts say they look great. I don’t know man, watched the scouting video too. Like I can’t be that bad lol.

Xbox guy here. I did this rebuild where i turned trade logic off, got back most of the 2016 marlins together, but when i go forward with the season, can i turn trade logic back on?
Can you do a top prospects franchise. You might have to use two teams or two videos since there is a ton of prospects. I want to see who becomes those “glitchy” players.

I don't like to invest high picks in bullpen guys. Even very good closers. I prefer to use them in SP or position players, cause good relievers are easier to trade for than guys on the other roles. Obviously it's something personal. But I like your videos and tips.

Yo should do a rebuild called the no diamond rebuild where your entire team must be under 85 ovr. And since 85 is the cutoff for if a player is Diamond or Gold in diamond dynasty it would make for a good name.
Just watched 22. You should choose a solid team, trade all players for draft picks and then do an accelerated rebuild.

Quick manage is always so broken. It seems like whenever I or even you quick manage, the CPU 90% of the time tends to score a ton of runs. The sim is broken in this game as it is, but its even worse with the quick manage.
